From a top level source in the House comes the news that the Democrats are still short of the 216 votes they need to pass Obamacare. They have decided, however, to go for broke on Sunday and attempt to pass it whether or not they have enough support. They feel that only by forcing a vote can the force members off the fence. They hope that by employing all means at their disposal, they can round up enough votes for passage. But, if they don't have the votes, they will allow the measure to be defeated. One source called it a "suicide run."

There has to be some of those Dems from conservative districts who feel that the House leadership is determined to destroy them. This has to build up resentment. This HR issue just will not die and keeps the voters in their districts all stirred up.
Could some of them play passive aggressive and say they will vote yes to lure the leadership into having a vote and then vote no to try to put a stake in the heart of this monster?
As for taking bribes for their votes? They need to remember that you never agree to a bribe on credit. Once the briber gets what he wants, why would he ever pay off? The payoff just provides the evidence that there really was a bribe.
Dick Morris is an intelligent political commentator...I enjoy his appearances on O’Reilly. I’ll never forget his appearance in FarenHYPE 911.
Don’t trust these rat bastards!.....remember, It’s Chicago style politics we’re playing now!
Well, this correlates with the thread earlier saying Fox announced they have 214 votes. Tat means they don’t have the votes and Morris is correct.
Any one here could have made the same announcement quoting Fox.
The question is was Bret’s panel correct? They all said if it is within one or two votes, they will some how prevail.
Even people close to Pelosi think she's lost her edge. People not quite so close to her think she's lost her marbles.
One thing we all have to remember post 2010 and post 2012, even if President Palin is in office,
we must continue to hold their feet to the fire,
and even show up at their offices and protest,
if they start to get Potomac Fever.
Has anybody told Morris he needs to put a padlock on his refrigerator? When I see him on O’Reilly, his collar is so tight on his fat neck, I think he is going to choke.
It Begins at last: OpEd: Impeach the President?
This is the first time Ive seen this idea mentioned in the media:

JON VOIGHT: Call to Arms: Join Me in DC Saturday to Stop ObamaCare
Call him and tell him to update his resume... he's toast after November.
Also worth calling: Joe Courtney, Jim Himes.
Larson and DeLauro are probably hopeless, but keep tying up their phone lines...
Well I’m going to be like a lib and go with Morris this time. The facts tell me he’s often wrong, but he makes me feel good for the moment :)
He’s on TV now. You’re right, he caved.
Or unless they are real close. Wasn't the stimulus package defeated on the first vote in the House?
I live in the 5th District of Ohio, but I told Mr. Space's staffer that I would take a week's vacation in his district in the fall help campaign for his opponent, if he voted to restrict our liberty.
Please, let's keep the pressure on.
GREAT post, Tony!
C'mon FReepers... let's melt down Zack Space's phone lines! Call the DC office and his regional offices as well!
Boccieri of Ohio is announcing his vote on TV -— he is a getting around to saying YES.
Agreed. I think we are making the same point.
Typical sob stories from (4 or 5) stoogies to back his yes vote!
He is making his announcement right now and is surrounded by the “victims” of our current health care system so it is a no brainer he will cave in like a ton of bricks. Just wonder what was used to buy his vote??
Please GOD let this be the high water mark.
