Night of the Hunter”? That movie scared me to death when I was a kid.

Ah yes. The bank robber father of the kids!

Movie about monsters frightened me as a kid, but movies about evil people frightened me even more!

Yes! Even as a kid I could recognize the difference between fantasy and real life. There would never be a Godzilla, but evil people were plentiful.

Rest in Peace, sir. You entertained countless fans in your tenure as one of Hollywoods classy individuals.

I grew up with Mission Impossible.

Your final mission Jim, should you decide to accept it. Tell God to clean up this mess!

He was a great actor!

Martin Landau - Outer Limits - The Man Who Was Never Born

I think the first Terminator movie evolved from this screen play basic concept except for the obvious changes.

I remember Leslie Nielson using that line in the Naked Gun movies, but not Peter Graves.

That’s regional when I was growing up in Texas lunch was always dinner and the nightime meal was supper. There are a lot of southerners that would make the same assumption as that lady. They spoofed that very thing on an IHOP commercial years ago about dinner supper or dinner lunch.

Wow, he got his star just in the nick of time.

I only knew him as Captain Oveur, who did eat the fish, on the ill-fated Airplane flight. He was marvelously deadpan. “Billy, have you ever been in a Turkish prison?”

RIP, Mr. Graves.

Very sad news. I'm not very familiar with his work outside of Airplane! or the movies that Mystery Science Theater 3000 riffed, but I enjoyed him in those films. RIP Mr. Graves.

This is a better quick look at AIRPLANE. 10 funny quotes.

This has to be one of the very few "Most Laughs Per Minute" films ever.

James Arness is still alive? Are you sure?

Rest in peace, Mr. Graves. What a mom to produce these two great guys.
