President Barack Obama urged Congress Wednesday to vote "up or down" on sweeping health care legislation in the next few weeks, endorsing a plan that denies Senate Republicans the right to kill the bill by stalling with a filibuster. "I don't see how another year of negotiations would help. Moreover, the insurance companies aren't starting over," Obama said, rejecting Republican calls to begin anew on an effort to remake the health care system.

Once again we get the “the time for debate is over.” Where have we heard that before?
Well, little boy, if the time debate is over, why wait a few weeks. Come on, schedule the vote for tomorrow at high noon. Do it now, no reason to delay. Unless, of course, you really don’t have the votes just yet, do you?

Oh, one other thought:
Last week it was time for debate in front of the TV cameras, but not now, just one week later. Sounds like somebody got their ass kicked.

Declaring victory regardless of facts is a very liberal attitude.

I called 202-224-3121 this afternoon, couldn’t hold on Lemiux R-FL’s line, so I reached wasterman’s office and expressed my disapproval (what good that did?). She wouldn’t tell me the percentage of for or against when I asked. I said I know she’s voting for it anyway (I’m unrepresented in this country). Still expressed my objection.
I wanted to tell her about her first-time competitor in the next election but why bother, Lowry’s running for her seat. District 20, Wasterman ran unopposed the last three times.

"I don't see how another year of negotiations would help."Well I don't see how Heisenberg's matrix mechanical summary predicts the same electron distribution as Shroedinger's time dependent wave equation, but then I don't tell fellow citizens that it's garbage.
Maybe it's your own BO, BO.
