Looks like the Fed’s once again rushed to say it wasn’t an act of terror when it was. Foreign? Not looking likely...but the pilot set his house on fire and then rams his plane into the IRS building.

Why are they always so quick to say it wasn’t an act of terrorism.

That’s not unusual. Flight plans are not mandatory (in most cases) for private flights conducted under visual flight rules, especially from smaller airports. They’re a good idea, but not mandatory.
