Maher will have to go a long way to stoop lower than this. What a disgusting and hate-filled person
Hmm. I was wondering if that was his IQ or his sperm count.
where’s a hand grenade when you need one.
That was an excellent analysis. Thank you.
Goody..... he will never live this down...
Maher is scum
Those who watch him are scum
Those who agree with him are scum.
Yes, this is the same friggin’ idiot that called out military cowards and the terrorists of 9-11, who flew the planes into the Towers, Pa., and the Pentagon, heroes! Of course, it got him booted from, I believe, ABC. He is one person, that if I ran into on the street, would knock the sh*t out of, without saying a word.
So his opinion is right in line with King Obamba’s, then....
Never could understand that Ann coulter is very good friends with him...?
Explain why please because I won't watch it.
Right now the headline on Drudge is Obama Should Thank Bush For Iraq. Now some people are going to read the actual article and see how misleading that headline is. Others are going to take it literally and start frothing at the mouth over it. Just like this thread.
The democrats always hold up what he says as examples of what America thinks and use him as a spokesman from time to time so take this and shove it up their asses. Use it in every election against every democrat running. Force them to defend this crap every moment of every day.
Oh yea, sure. Just like the good old days of Viet Nam eh dipshit. All that did was get a whole lot of good GIs killed due to lack of fortitude back at home and the namby-pamby way the war was fought due in large part to the lack of support back home. Go to hell Maher!
Atleast he is being HONEST for a change.
He’s part of Obama’s HOPE and CHANGE.
I agree. I saw the video and he did have a couple of valid points. Can anyone argue that the US doesn’t pay those in the military crap considering they put their lives on the line everyday? Can anyone argue that the mantra that this country loves the troops is a farce when you consider that returning vets are often treated like crap and charged out of their own pockets for injuries suffered in the line of duty?
I am no Bill Maher fan (I think that he is a totally disgusting person) but he is more right than wrong here when it comes to the way this nation supports its troops and how it amounts to little more than lip service.
I’m surprised Steve Erwin’s little daughter Bindi hasn’t beaten the crap out of Maher for that little stunt.
That is an insult to dwarves...but I know what you mean.
What a disgusting piece of human refuse. Ugh.
Tomb of the Unknown Soldier
For a person to apply for guard duty at the tomb, he must be
between 5’ 10’ and 6’ 2’ tall and his waist size cannot exceed 30.
They must commit 2 years of life to guard the tomb, live in a barracks under the tomb, and cannot drink any alcohol on or off duty for the rest of their lives. They cannot swear in public for the rest of their lives and cannot disgrace the uniform or the tomb in any way.
After two years, the guard is given a wreath pin that is w orn o n their lapel signifying they served as guard of the tomb. There are only 400 presently worn. The guard must obey these rules for the rest of their lives or give up the wreath pin.
The shoes are specially made with very thick soles to keep the heat and cold from their feet. There are metal heel plates that extend to the top of the shoe in order to make the loud click as they come to a halt.
There are no wrinkles, folds or lint on the uniform.. Guards dress for duty in front of a full-length mirror.
The first six months of duty a guard cannot talk to anyone nor
watch TV. All off duty time is spent studying the 175 notable people laid to rest in Arlington National Cemetery . A guard must memorize who they are and where they are interred. Among the notables are:
President Taft,
Joe Lewis {the boxer}
Medal of Honor winner Audie L. Murphy, the most
decorated soldier of WWII and of Hollywood fame.
Every guard spends five hours a day getting his uniforms ready for guard duty.
