My dilemma was choosing between The Battle of Lexington & Concord when The People said "enough!" and 1773 when the "mohawks" stormed the Beaver, the Eleanor, and the Dartmouth. I suspect we're past the tea party stage and what Obama and his Congress are preparing are the Intolerable Acts of the New Millennium.

I have always said he would bring it down to the 75K single 150K couple mark. The $250k was a joke.

National sales tax? All those who wanted their pie are going to be sad to see the tax on it.

It’s another way of saying “It’s above my pay-grade”, and also suggesting he’s still not a true believer, and “believe
me, I’m open to any new ideas.....”

I would have never expected this. It’s as unexpectedly unexpected as the unexpected economic and employment numbers.

“Now they have to explain why taxing people at higher rates is good for them.”

In any economy, it’s suicidal to raise taxes and break that sort of promise. In this economy there are going to be lynchings.

” he do it with a break in his voice, “I’ve tried harder than I ever have in my entire life ...” “

It’s likely he has. That’s the frightening thing.

Why should conservatives keep cleaning up the messes left by the Libs and then make things okay and then have the stupid libs make messes again out of everything? I for one am sick of seeing it. A Republican sorts everything out, goes ahead and makes things more than better, only to have a Democrat get in, coast, squander, and eventually destroy it.

Same thing all the time. Conservatives do all the work and then the Democrats get all the credit during good times.

“suggesting he’s still not a true believer, and “believe

Let’s reduce him to BEGGING for help and then our side can provide it with terms that he has to reach before we lift a finger to help him and this country out of this mess.
