So, we have a country teetering (literally) financially. Our spending/budget is what, 87, 88% of our GDP? Our debt ceiling has just been raised (again!), we have "off books" spending not even factored in, Social Security went red for the first time, Medicare, all I can do is shake my head at that one. We have high unemployment in the private sector, unemployment benefits running out, Government hiring left and right, TWO wars to fund and finish (AND WIN!), Government take over of Auto, Banks and numerous other bailouts.

Seriously, how the hell can it NOT all come crashing down?

Where we go, so goes the world. The U.S. cannot survive much longer as a consumer based economy.
