Paging Al Gore....
OH MY GOSH! NOT SNOW! NOT IN JANUARY! NOT IN ALL CAPS!!!
God has a message for those in DC....
DEFCON 3
WE’RE DOOMED !!
If it gives our elected dimwits any problems, or inconveniences them in any way, it would all be worth it.
Better not have any snowbal fights on D.C. streets
;-)
wEATHER statements are always in all caps.
NWS bulletins are always in CAPS, it drives me insane.
Am thinking I’ll go out to the garage and put battery chargers on the cars.
The “GOOD” part of this is that our Congress will be doing nothing - no new spending or taxes for at least a couple of days!
I’m going to check out web cams for those areas to see what may be going on ....
If your cars are in a garage, don't bother. If they're outside, you may want to if the temps get down below 0F. But that depends on how old and how charged the batteries are.
I live in Northern IL. It gets down to the minus temps at times. My car sits outside and has never needed a charger overnight.
Would be helpful if Congress could not meet for months.
Here in Pittsburgh, it's starting to really snow now. We had some rain earlier, then some flurries; now it's the real thing.
Everyone in the path of this storm: Stay safe. If you can, stay home and post on FR.
Looking at traffic on Conneticut Ave. http://atms.montgomerycountymd.gov/jpgcap/TL/
Clicked on a couple of dots. Most of the time you can’t even see the vehicles.
Where are at fnl? I am near Irwin (Westmoreland County) big, big fluffy flakes and roads covered. School district cancelled evening Saturday activities.
