There is no debt to pay. It is supposed to be service to the country.

What you say should be true. Maybe it's just the way some of us were raised. The appropriate thing seems, to me, to be what Sarah decided to do. To do otherwise, again to me, seems sorta cold and mercenary somehow.

I tend to sympathize with what Sarah has done even though it does not look like the best political move in the long run. I do not support McCain and I think JDH can beat him. Sarah behind JD would be very strong unless JD has baggage that would make the voters reject him.

Hayworth had Abramoff problems, Indian casino issues, and something about his wife getting some questionable money from his PAC...lost his House seat in 2006 ... magritte

"Issues" and "problems"?

Nothing illegal was found with his ties to Abramoff and the Indian Casinos. I believe his only problem is the earmarks.

Past that, JD has a near perfect conservative voting record and unlike McCain he will stop amnesty.

>> I’m a Reagan Republican who adores Sarah

What does your adoration for Sarah have to do with our mutual liberties?

That’s why he’s a talk show host yesterday, and a candidate tomorrow.

Wil Sarah be campaigning for Charlie Crist and other amnesty-loving stinking RINOs?

I hope not. If she comes out for any more RINOs against real conservatives, that will just about sink her. I've had the feeling for some time that she needs some good conservative adivsers, if she is indeed a conservative.

“He lost his House seat last time out during the presidentail election.”

So, who won the presidential election of 2006, then?

I glad you brought that into the discussion machogirl, because it falls right into line with the new federal assault on Sheriff Joe, who just happens to be JD’s most notable supporter!!!!

EVERYONE knows Sheriff Joe and JD are wholly against amnesty and everyone also knows that Obama and his adinistration are counting on McCain to “help” with immigration reform and that’s WHY JD’s entry into this race at this time is so important to me and it should be to everyone else.

BRING IMMIGRATION REFORM INTO THE RACE - make McCain ADMIT to his positions.

I can barely wait to contribute to JD HAYWORTH !!!!

Hayworth just needs to run ads featuring McCain in his own vile words (paraphrasing)...’you have nothing to fear from an Obama presidency...’ Beat him over the head with those words...metaphorically speaking, of course. :-)

One of the biggest things Republicans can do to regain trust is to pledge to never ask for or take earmarks.

“Earmarks are nothing but a cheap applause line for Juan McCain, and that needs to be well exposed in this campaign. And many earmarks enable very worthwhile projects to be done in communities that could never afford them on their own. People need to ask around and find out what earmarks have financed in their communities.”

They may be a cheap applause line, but they aint that cheap. You saying $30 billion is cheap? Opposing them is one way to reign in an out of control government. I oppose McLame for many other reasons though.

Sorry Fly...big time Reagan admirer and Sarah supporter. See my tag line.

Oh, I believe that you're not John McCain. Absolutely not.

There's no way, in fact, that you're John McCain.

Now see my tagline

Sarah made her choice.
She has more loyalty to a man than to We The People.

If there are any problems in this campaign, she can't say that she was lacking knowledge about it. I'm just curious how she'll handle the McCain females.
