They may be a cheap applause line, but they aint that cheap. You saying $30 billion is cheap? Opposing them is one way to reign in an out of control government. I oppose McLame for many other reasons though.

Yep, very cheap in a $3 trillion+ budget. And many earmarks are very beneficial. Entitlements are where the money is. I'm commented elsewhere.

Earmarks = a cheap applause line for disingenuous politicians. And only a few use it, like Juan McCain.
