In the 2008 campaign, Obama was asked for specifics on how he would "reduce the deficit". His answer was basically: "I would invest in roads and bridges. I would invest in schools and hospitals. Most importantly, I would invest in green technology so that we can get our deficit under control."

Expect more of the same -- throw trillions of dollars at the deficit, in an effort to make it go away.

Great idea. I hired a panel of Ivy League experts to find out why my household finances were in the Krapper. After 18 months of intensive study they determined that I spend more money than I earn.
