“Hard digging for voters in the cemetary.”

No problem, they have plenty of volunteers to act as proxy voters so the dead don’t actually have to get up and out in freezing cold.

The DU and conspiracy minded Freepers should both be locked up in the asylum! I tell the bipartisan black helicopter crowd to go have fun!

Nah, anyone who wants Brown is pissed. They'd go down to vote even if they absolutely positively knew the race was won, just to flip off the First Teleprompter. Thanks, I really needed that. Just warms my heart!

She'll lose by 14. Bigger than projected by all the polls.

“A large turnout on Democrat turf usually means a Democrat win. If we win, the independents must break to Brown in a big way.”
51% independents - they are breaking big time to Brown. A big turnout can also mean those that don’t normally vote are voting, and the campaign that’s most energized often benefits from that.
Hmmm...any guess to which campaign that was? (Not saying it’s in the bag - but it *still* looks good!)

I don't whether he's looked at the bellwether towns. They've mirrored statewide results with uncanny accuracy in modern times.

Also for us margin counts. A big win sends a very different message than a small win. So there is a big motivation to vote even if you know the race was won. It is like running up the score when you know that points scored will be used as a tie breaker later in the year. Even though the game is won, you still have a reason to keep playing hard.

I agree, Brown is going to win bigger than anyone has expected. There is a rebellious fervor in Mass, and Coakley is not a symbol of rebellion, she is the symbol of entrenched corruption.
