Former Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska has signed on as a contributor to the Fox News Channel.
The network confirmed that Ms. Palin will appear on the networks programming on a regular basis as part of a multi-year deal. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Ms. Palin will not have her own regular program, one person familiar with the deal said, though she will host an occasional series that will run on the network from time to time. This person would not elaborate, but the network does have a precedent for such a series. Oliver L. North is the host of an occasionally running documentary series on the military called War Stories.
Many suspected that when Ms. Palin retired as the governor of Alaska last summer she was doing so to pursue some sort of career in television. The Fox News deal, however, would not seem to be all encompassing, and would appear to give her room for other pursuits, as well.

Robby the robot appeared only once on LiS. He was in a Movie in the early sixties about Planet X.
Megn Kelly puts her to shame. Better voice too.
Forbidden Plant not planet X
Here comes the stupid stories again. Will Sarah Palin become the next Oprah? That was the stupid story 3 months ago, the answer is no, she’s not after a talk show, she’s after the White House and she’s going to get it ...
I agree with your comments here. The one exception I must make, is that I didn’t see that interview with Gretta, so I can’t comment on that. I’m glad to hear your take on it, sounding positive.
I love Sarah more than most, but that is not likely to happen.
What in the hell are you talking about? This toasts her chances for the white house?
Publishers Weekly, 11/25/2009
With all the interest in just how well Sarah Palins Going Rogue has done since it was released November 17, HarperCollins has confirmed reports that the book sold 700,000 copies in its first week on sale.
Nielsen BookScan reported this morning that units sold through stores that report figures to its service sold 469,000 copies.
BookScan estimates that it covers about 75% of book sales and one outlet that does not report to the company is Wal Mart which used Rogue has one of its loss leaders which no doubt drove sales at the chain.
HC has 2.5 million copies of Rogue in print after nine trips to press.

As a contrast:
*snip*
“St. Martins will print 200,000 copies of Romneys book, far less than HarperCollinss 1.5 million-copy first printing of Palins Going Rogue, which reportedly sold 1 million copies within its first two weeks. Romney has not disclosed the amount of his advance, but a spokesman says he will contribute his earnings to a charity he has yet to name.”
“Danger, Will Robinson!” I liked that show too...
Thanks. I know her book sales are well past the million mark.
Does this mean we can get rid of Geraldo now?
What an improvement!
Could very well be that a clause in the contract says unless/until I officially run for President.
PEOPLE: She’s her own person - and she’s never promised to run for president. May God bless Sarah in all her future endeavors.
Some of, not all of these “ Oh, I don’t think she is going to run” are people that never were going to vote for her and always sya this to put her down, and they never point to things like the RSLC in New Orleans where she isn’t getting paid and where most of the heavy hitters of those planing to run for the presidency will be at, she is just keeping her options open! SHEESH!
Personal preference. Megan also isn't 45 with 5 kids.
Thanks for the ping, melancholy!
I’m an *interested FReeper* who can’t wait to tell my husband although I’m sure his response will be, “’bout time.”
Obama'd develop a sudden illness and re-schedule the presser.
Or he'd have the Secret Service delay her WH entry due to "paper work" until the presser was over.
Meanwhile, all the SS agents would be posing for pics with her out front, wishing her well, and looking forward to working for her after 1/20/13. HA!
I hope she does not sully herself by going on that show. Going on SNL was bad enough but the reasoning was different. It showed that she was brave and blew off their stupid degrading skits about her. SNL seems to have a big impact on the American viewing public showing forth how low many Americans have fallen. Sarah managed to go on SNL in a very classy way which in itself is something.
I watched Red Eye for awhile as it was entertaining and I liked the people but found it unsavory. They go the cheap route and dally in debauchery with drug and perverse sexual comments etc.
