The founder of the website "Free Republic", Jim Robinson, has joined a growing boycott of the CPAC (Conservative Political Action Conference) due to a homosexual activist group sponsoring the event.
GOProud, a group that advocates same-sex "marriage," a repeal of the military's "don't ask, don't tell" policy, and "expanding access to domestic partner benefits" for homosexuals, is listed as a sponsor of the event at CPAC's website.
Mr. Robinson has joined a number of conservative activists including Liberty University Chancellor Jerry Falwell, Jr., Liberty Counsel founder and chairman Mat Staver, and Gary Glenn, president of the American Family Association of Michigan in their efforts.
On a reply to an article about the boycott, Mr. Robinson stated "Ill join that boycott. If CPAC is no longer for conservative family values then I want nothing to do with them. Theyll have to change their name to HOMOPAC."
“Theyll have to change their name to HOMOPAC.”

..."hmmm, broke PAC mounting"
You know, if a couple of guys want to bang each other in the privacy of their own home or behind a motel room door, I could care less.
The problems start when they want society to put its stamp of approval on their behavior. They want all dissident opinions silenced. They want to take apart, brick by brick, long-held traditions that have played a major part in making this country what it is today.
Unfortunately, gay groups have been very successful in equating the defense of traditional values with intolerance and shame. People like me don’t want to eliminate homosexuals from the face of the earth, nor stop what they do in private, but we should NOT be made to feel ashamed of what we believe in, nor have those beliefs unjustly tarred as something dirty and hateful.
I don’t hate gays, but at the same time I don’t want their behavior shoved in my face and being forced to accept it either.
Lobbyists and inside the beltway money is buying this group.
If that's the case, "boycotting" something you aren't sponsoring/attending anyway seems a bit pointless.
I think all kinds of insiders like Mitt Romney and others have their hands in this group.
His campaign fund detail might confirm that.
Looks like John Kerry.
David A. Keene (born May 20, 1945) is the current chairman of the American Conservative Union, a position which he has held since 1984. Additionally, he is the managing associate at the Carmen Group Lobbying, a lobbying firm based in Washington, D.C. In December 2007, Keene endorsed Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign.
Keene wrote a column in support of Specter when he was running against Toomey.
Keene claims that Specter is worth supporting for his personal qualities: “I’ve known and worked with Specter for more than a decade. . . . He is honest and decent, and, unlike many of his colleagues, his word is always good.
“Arlen Specter is what we used to call a standup guy. He isn’t always with us, but when he is you can take his word to the bank. He’s willing to climb out of his foxhole and take on the opposition. . . . It may not count with many conservatives, but it counts with me.”
Keene is “a managing associate with the Carmen Group, a D.C.-based governmental affairs firm.” In other words, a lobbyist. A brief review of the lobbying-disclosure reports reveals that Keene is frequently listed as doing lobbying work that concerns the Senate Appropriations Committee: for example, lobbying on the appropriations bill that funds the Department of Labor and the Department of Health and Human Services.

David Keene To John Ziegler: “I’m Not Gonna Hit You, But I’d Like To”
John Ziegler, voracious defender of Sarah Palin against all media criticism, has turned his sights from the liberal news to conservative politicos.
In his movie “Media Malpractice: How Obama Got Elected and Palin Was Targeted,” Ziegler went after the mainstream media for perceived liberal bias and slights against the Alaska governor. This weekend at the Western Conservative Political Action Conference (WCPAC), Ziegler went after a target closer to home: David Keene, chairman of the American Conservative Union. In the end, the documentarian gets cursed at and kicked out of the conference.
Ziegler was after Keene for criticizing Palin, but he also attacked the conservative leader for supporting Sen. Arlen Specter (pre-party switch).
Keene initially agreed to a sit-down interview, but he tried to leave when the questions turned aggressive. After offering a few rebuttals he quickly gave up and resorted to name-calling. “I’m not gonna hit you, but I’d like to, because you deserve it,” Keene said at one point. Before finally freeing himself of Ziegler, he added, “You’re an asshole. You got that on the air? Asshole.”
I think Jim means he won’t be supporting the event on his website. As for an FR/Network presense, we had had a major one for many years. Besides the booth that was clean, crisp and professional, Network reps would have meetings with conservative leaders/groups and discuss strategies for assuring a conservative ascendancy in America. Out of that led many initiatives including the critically successful national rallies in ‘00 and ‘03, not to mention the Wintersoldier.com project. We had half a dozen other major projects on the board like voter fraud, academia bigotry and balance in the MSM.
The good old days.
David Keene, the chairman of the CPAC-organizing American Conservative Union and a former aide to Bob Dole, who suggested that conservatives have been frustrated with Bush for years. He said criticism of Bush was consistent with the belief weve had for some time.
On a thread like this I begin to wonder where “Hate the sin but love the sinner” begins and ends...
Hold their feet to the fire and watch them squirm. This is very good news, and Jim once again leads us where we should have been all along.
That’s enough for me. Why is he still chairman of the ACU?
I went on the GOProud website; I left a message that they couldn’t call themselves conservatives if they supported same sex marriage. Period.
At your house?
The guy running CPAC is Grover Nordquist, who married a muslim woman, appears to have converted to Islam, aided in the infiltration of numerous muslims into the White House and is more likely than not a traitor.
He also was a lobbyist for the Seychelles which is a famously notorious money laundering hub and safe retirement place for criminals. He represented them in DC for years.
Anyone who want the details and links please email me. I would love to bring down that slime ball and have been keeping track of his treason for years. Because he ran CPAC it was hard to get people to pay attention to his slime.
sick and tired of these mentally sick perverts infiltrating our churches, our groups and now our party.
We stand for traditional families, mother and a father not two fathers .
Are they seriously trying to tell me that we have to fit them in and that a child seeing two men in bed together in a morning kissing is not going to harm a child mentally.
We have churches where they now have no problem with these perverts but it is not all the religion.
So now churches are having to form and seperate from other churches in the same religion.
As far as I am concerned they can piss off and never will be accepted and that view goes for my kids who also know that it is a mother and a father which makes a child and raises a child.
It’s in our schools, churches and now in conservative groups.
WTH
They hyjacked the word gay, they took the rainbow flag and then parade in public their sickness.
