My thought exactly! Finally the CAT is out of the BAG!!

If the WP is putting this on the front page - I think the “summit” will be a disaster for the president; at least I’m hoping so. And .. this should put the “cap and tax” in serious jeopardy .. thank goodness.

And .. anybody in Congress who continues to believe this climate garbage, should immediately be VOTED OUT OF OFFICE. If they are that stupid .. they do not deserve to be a part of the govt.

It’s a start.

However, most people already know about the scandal via the internet and fox news. They need to work on expediency now.

The Post is walking a fine line here. Ignoring this huge anti-leftist story is shredding the remaining wisps of the old media’s credibility. So they give it the front page treatment (see, we covered it!), but dismiss the revelations of fraud as essentially trivial.

Sounds like they ran out of whitewash but it sure wasn’t for lack of trying.

I see here that the U.K. Met Office --- the Meterological Office, Britain's weather service --- has undertaken the task of re-assembling the 160 years' worth of raw temperature data that the CRA/University of East Anglia dumped.

But re-assembling from what? Surely not the altered figures. "I smell a great big commie rat"

I didn’t either and they ended it with someone saying that the warming hasn’t stopped so IMHO it is still based in favor of Climate change inspite of the fact the scientist’s were fudging the data to get to that conclusion.

I’d put it this way:

WP = mildly left of center

Pravda = hard left

NYT = moonbat left

From related articles: data will come from "over 1,000 weather stations worldwide" (this will be raw temperature data) and ...

"The Government is attempting to stop the Met Office from carrying out the re-examination, arguing that it would be seized upon by climate change sceptics."

I assume that means Gordon Brown and the Labour Party.

I am sure there's going to be a lot of pushing and pulling, duelling press conferences and caterwauling. But the good news is that the caterwauling will now be out in the open, and Labour's popularity aand credibility are plummeting.

It is not by chance they chose today. Saturday is the day with the fewest readers.

"E-mails stolen from British research center"

You think the WP would ever describe the Pentagon Papers as being top-secret documents stolen from the Department of Defense?

They think they have a defensive posture.

They think they can blame a few zealots while maintaining that manmade global warming exists over a span of the last 10+ decades.

That is where they have coincidental curves that they can use.

However, there is still evidence that virtually all excess upper layer heat escapes Earth’s atmosphere.

America is done, finished, so over.

If you really believe that, then go quietly from this place, and never return to utter those defeatist words here again.
