Free Republic does not and will not support RINOS!! Not now!! Not ever!!
My day after Thanksgiving message | 11/26/200 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 11/26/2009 9:55:25 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Apparently there are still some posters on FR who are fast asleep. Wake up! Dammit! We are in the middle of a conservative rebellion! While you were sleeping we, along with millions of other freedom loving grassroots Americans have participated in hundreds of tea parties all across this great land and fully intend to keep it up until all of America is awake. We are fed up and mad as hell! We grassroots Americans are delivering a message to the ruling class: NO MORE!!

No more big government! No more high taxes! No more government bailouts! No more government takeovers! No government healthcare! No more corruption! No more global baloneyism!!

We're sick and tired of liberals and RINOs running roughshod over our God given Liberty!

We want our country back! We want our freedom back! We want it all back!!

No more socialism!!

Cut the taxes! Cut the spending! Cut the government!

Restore the constitutional limits on government! Restore our freedom!!

And not only no, but HELL NO to liberals and RINOS!!

Free Republic will not support RINOS!! Rudy McRomney, et al, can go straight to hell!!

The strategy is we win, they lose.

Any questions?

Two steps toward the left and one step toward the right is advancing liberalism, not conservatism. Why don’t you get that? How is someone like Snowe, Collins, etc. better than a liberal? Because they have an (R) behind their name?

Answer MY question first. Didn’t Jim Jeffords, a RINO, turn over the Majority in the senate to democrats? And was that NOT our undoing?
You are flying under a false flag here if you think your question is more valid than mine. You say I have no clue, but proceed with blurgle that bears absolutely NO RELEVANCE to my post.

Guess I missed that section of the thread.

I was speaking of totalitarian globalism.

Sorry. I don’t understand your post so I should have kept my fingers quiet.

I am suggesting that RINOs and their sympathizers are the problem, plain and simple. They have continually and consistently pushed their brand of ‘conservatism’ to the left, and thus, the conservative movement and national ‘face’ of the GOP to the left. And that push will continue until either they realize the err of their ways, or they are purged. It doesn’t matter if its the liberal express ticket to globalism/totalitarianism or the incremental one by RINOs. Its still the wrong road.

Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Friend, you are aiding and abetting your potential enslavers with that attitude.

Just when are we supposed to start yelling? When the storm troopers are rounding us up and putting us irons?

Jeffords is a traitorous liberal. This is the way it is but I fail to see the relevance to this thread.

If you're trying to tell me all Republicans are less than 100% desirable, I'll agree with you but that doesn't mean we have to let the RATS have the whole ball of wax.

Don't you get it? IT IS DEMOCRATS WHO ARE OUR ENEMY!!!!!!!!!

Would you rather have Obama for president than McCain? I'd gladly take McCain right now. I didn't like him. I didn't support him at the caucus but by golly when the time came, my choice was easy and I'm glad I voted for him.

OBAMA AND THESE DEMOCRATS ARE EVIL!!

DON'T YOU GET IT! Its alleged conservatives that follow this asinine theory that push conservatism further and further left!

Your 'win at all costs' scare tactic has cost the conservative agenda so much, it will be almost impossible to recover.

But you keep voting for that (R), ok?

I would vote for Giuliani if I lived in New York. National Security, Healthcare, small govt and low taxes-—New York could sure use him.

During the runup to the 2008 election, FReepers were threatened with zotting for advocating any other action than voting for McCain.

Would you vote for Reagan? How am I doing anything to move the country to the left? I’ll do anything to stop them. YOU are the one who is willing to let the country go to the left because you mistakingly believe that unless a candidate suits you 100%, it is morally superior to allow the extremely liberal RAT win but then YOU accuse ME of moving the country to the left. Wake up. It is YOU who will be moving the country to the left.

I consider yours to be the most Reaganesque post of the last hundred or so in this ongoing argument.

Thank you. Reagan was a man of reason; unfortunately a lot of this thread is about emotion and vengeance, the very things that were the antithesis of Reaganism!

I would only add that as a long-term strategy, the right-conservative base must individually and collectively begin flooding the entry level ranks of the Republican party machinery, so as to eventually replace the RINOs now running it, as well as those who are in elected office.

I fully agree; of course, many here are proud to point out they will never work with, in, or support the Republican party until it gets rid of its RINOs and becomes conservative.

If you're not a Republican, then how can you define what is a RINO? If you're not working in or for the party, then how can you reasonably expect it to even realize you exist? And if you cannot voice your own specific examples of what is a conservative position and what isn't, how can you help the party become more conservative?

There's a lot of red meat being thrown about in this thread, and it's gotten conservatism nowhere; in fact, it may have slid back as we have abandoned logic and reason for emotion and rabble-rousing.

Reagan and Buckley would be, I posit, ashamed of this thread...

Explain to me HOW I would be moving the country to the left.

Are you talking about voting in a primary or voting in a general election?

I mostly agree with you.

I also got stung voting for Ross Perot.

However, I do know that both the RATS and the GOP are two sides of the manipulated-by-the-tyranical/globalist-puppet-masters coin of bread, circuses and phoney SElections.

I’m not sure it will matter in the end.

Oh, I think we MUST do what we can for God, Good, The Republic and Right.

It just seems clear to me that the globalists have so many screws they are tightening . . . so many wars and so much anarchy and chaos looming on the near horizon . . . I seriously am not sure we’ll have a 2010 election, much less a 2012 one. And if we do have a 2010 election . . . what level of sabotaging suicidally treasonously destructive to The Republic and The American way will they pull out the stops to foist on us at critical points in the campaign and right before the SElection?

I’m all for working for good people to vote for and voting for them. I may still vote the less evil skunk to keep a more evil skunk from getting the slot.

I’m just skeptical that even massive numbers voting Conservative values will carry the day very far or very long at this late stage of the global conquest of totalitarianism.

I’m trying to put more of my energy and time into The Kingdom of God. That will likely have more benefit for The Republic in the long run.

I’m still convinced that God has lots of surprises up His big sleeves for the globalists.

I want to be enough in tune with Him that I can hit the road running which ever way He says.
