Jeffords is a traitorous liberal. This is the way it is but I fail to see the relevance to this thread.

If you're trying to tell me all Republicans are less than 100% desirable, I'll agree with you but that doesn't mean we have to let the RATS have the whole ball of wax.

Don't you get it? IT IS DEMOCRATS WHO ARE OUR ENEMY!!!!!!!!!

Would you rather have Obama for president than McCain? I'd gladly take McCain right now. I didn't like him. I didn't support him at the caucus but by golly when the time came, my choice was easy and I'm glad I voted for him.

OBAMA AND THESE DEMOCRATS ARE EVIL!!

DON'T YOU GET IT! Its alleged conservatives that follow this asinine theory that push conservatism further and further left!

Your 'win at all costs' scare tactic has cost the conservative agenda so much, it will be almost impossible to recover.

But you keep voting for that (R), ok?

You argued with me over Scozzfava. You said we were liars. You claimed we hadn’t read her record. When I pointed out to you she voted in favor of coddling pedophiles and in FAVOR of gay marriage, you stopped responding.
Now you say that we should support RINOS because they have Rs after their name and tell us we are nuts if we don’t. I gave you the perfect examples of WHY they are more dangerous than staightup ugly dems, and you change the subject completely.
So, in keeping with your premise, would YOU have voted for Jim Jeffords? That is a yes or no question.
We conservatives fought a long, hard fight to get control of the Senate, and with one R who WASN’T, everything we fought for was gone in an instant.
Don’t tell me I am clueless if you refuse to see the ugly truth in front of your eyes.
YES. obama is our enemy. Big time. But if we had started earlier, MUCH earlier, ridding ourselves of the Jeffords, the Specters, Snowes, and Collins, McCains, Grahams, Martinezes, Crists, Voinoviches, et al, we wouldn’t HAVE an oblama in the white tent, now, would we?
The R ain’t the holy grail and you ain’t the pope.

Dear Conservativegreatgrandma;

I have sat here for some weeks now reading your posts and trying to figure out how you, after all these years still reach the party-line conclusions. In fact my post on this very thread was a direct reference to you. Perhaps you've always lived in GOP strongholds or have never had a RINOs performance directly affect your family, your Rights. You have been on FR a very, very long time. Trolls and shills don't last long around here, so I figure your intents are honest.

So here is what I have to say to you. Pick it apart all you want, I'll not be responding to you ever again. I come from a place that is a state full of RINOs. My republican senator is less responsive than my democrat house representative, Kucinich. There is little I care for about either one.

Here is what I know from where I stand, since 1980 I have voted Republican even in the last election when I didn't have a voice in the nominee. The whole “big tent” idea lost an election. I want to repeat that, the whole big tent idea lost the election. Millions of conservatives turned out to vote, we held our nose and pulled the lever for McCain...even though we knew it was because of Palin we were even bothering to vote.

The big tent idea for me means big government. You, I, nor any one party can have a big tent without violating the Constitution. The GOP doesn't need to win the middle, they lost because they lost the appeasement vote. WE voted and they still lost, not because of us but because the big tent collapsed. McCain couldn't lead, all he did was offer appeasements and we still lost.

Thomas Paine has a special name for moderates, evil. I have slowly over the last decade come to agree with that view. RINO’s are what has made the GOP lose its way. The lurch to the left hasn't been just the democrats, the republicans too have moved very far left. If they had stood by their principles we may have lost a few, but we would be winning the war right now. Leaders should lead, not appease.

Conservative have chosen to no longer appease the corrupted GOP. They are corrupted right now like a bad computer chip. The question is if we can get rid of the RINO virus. We stopped sending money, we stopped campaigning for them, we even stopped voting and yet...RINOs and Democrats win on appeasement, not leadership.

Your ongoing denial of the failings of the GOP is a puzzle to me. Appeasement isn't going to save this nation, it is destroying it and the GOP is as much at fault as the democrats.

On my local level, it was conservatives and tea party folks who finally overturned the structure of county government in the last election. Not the GOP, they came along for the ride.

Jan. we're holding our first 8hr. Freedom Seminar...the GOP?

Things are moving and changing. Does it mean a third party will emerge? Third parties never win. Funny, that's what they said about the GOP some many years ago, when in one election cycle they won the heart of a nation. At that time the issue was slavery and the only difference now is who the master will be.

See my tagline. It is our Right as promised to us in the Declaration of Independence.
