Words mean things.
Activists, radio hosts, bloggers, talking heads, authors and emailers should refrain from referencing this assault on our economy as "The Health Care 'Reform' Bill."
The word "reform" brings to mind things like "easier;" "streamlined;" "uncluttered," and "up-to-date." The results of this legislation will be the opposite of those words, as most of us are aware. Therefore, the use of the word "reform" is cooperation with the delusions that the RATs have attempted to foist upon the complacent TV addicts of our nation.
I beg you to call it what it is: It is a Health Care Demolition Bill.

Even Fox started calling it “health care overhaul” a few weeks back.
Has as much to do with “Healthcare” as Obama has to do with Presidentin’.....
My Congressman, John Culberson, calls it “Health Care Takeover.” Got his newsletter last week.

I agree this has nothing to do with Health Care. As with all Socialist (Fascist) the best way to control a population is to control their very ability to live.
The National Socialist of Germany did it.
And who can forget the disgusting pictures and stories of the nightmarish health care system of the Soviet Union.AGAIN THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HEALTH CARE, THIS IS THE DUMS TRYING TO GAIN CONTROL OVER YOUR VERY RIGHT TO LIVE.
Abortion funding? If they will decide if you can have a mammogram, what makes you think they will NOT tell you how many children you can have.

The following is buried in the bill and has been outed by the Gun Owners of America:
Complicating things is the fact that Reid and other lawmakers peppered the bill with potentially divisive subjects like abortion and, strangely, gun ownership.
“The conservative group Gun Owners of America sent out an action alert to its 300,000 members on Friday warning that the Senate legislation would mandate that doctors provide “gun-related health data” to “a government database,” including information on mental-health issues detected in patients, which could jeopardize their ability to obtain a firearms license.
In addition, the group said the legislation’s ‘wellness’ provisions — designed to encourage more healthful lifestyles — would allow federal officials to mandate that companies charge higher insurance premiums for employees who own guns.”
Health care is provided by a physician - with extensive academic and practical training. IQ: High (except for certain democrat senator physicians who yell a lot)
Health care reform is provided by congresscritters - with little or no education in any useful trade. IQ: Come on, they’re politicians. (except for a select few)

I actually think your point is good. How far does speaking in euphemisms get radical ideas through? Pretty darn far actually. Ever notice that Israelis all live in "settlements"? Ever notice that all Palestinians live in "refugee camps" (since when do refugee camps have concrete buildings, restaurants, and universities)? Ever notice that Hamas and Hezbollah are generally referred to as "militants"? Ever notice that Iranian and Syrian terrorists in Iraq are always called "insurgents" (to make it sound like it's the native Iraqis that hate the American occupiers)?
