This is three days in a row now that guests and the hosts on FoxNews have said her future does not lie in politics, but Television, even now talking about her as a replacement for Oprah. This really ticks me off. These people are so condecending of Sarah, and therefore me.
Have you guys been noticing this. FoxNews is continually telling everyone she is not fit to be president, I say BS ...
So what if they did. Who cares.
She (Kelly) is on maternity leave.
She is the sharpest knife in the Fox drawer.
They're doing that for the same reason Oprah & Barbara Walters are - to increase their ratings. Otherwise, FOX does very little to support Sarah Palin. FOX backs RINOs.
Has anyone else noticed that since they got the Obama interview in China, that they've been going a little softer on him? I've noticed a difference in tone.
Excellent advise....for me. Sarah did say she hasn't ruled it out, but I think we are going to have a bloody battle on our hands for 2010.
Best to concentrate on that, for now. Thanks for the reminder!
Huckabee is on the weekend at Fox AND they shill for Romney all the time
In case you missed it, for the last decade or so the Junk Media has quit even pretending to be objective and become out and out attack dogs for the Democrat Party. Your notion that some how anyone Center-Right can get honest treatment from them is sadly misplaced
I cannot wait for her return. I miss her!
I know Megyn is on maternity leave...I watch the show every day. I just cringe when I see Alisyn as host...much prefer Juliet Huddy.
In the days of print there was a saying something along the lines of “you don't get in a peeing match with those that buy ink by the barrel and paper by the roll”. You could expand that in today's environment to include ‘airtime by the hours, etc’.
Could be nothing, or could be something. With that treasonous bastard, I put nothing past him.
Riiiiiight...Fox is out to destroy Sarah so they are featuring her on every show. I give up!
That's where she'll end up, though.
Tune in for the State of the Union speech in January 2013... ;)
Sarah wouldn’t do an Oprah style show. If she had an 1 1/2 hour show on TV I’m sure she’d be talking politics and policy. No matter what she does, it appears that she wants to have influence and shape public policy.
Sarah arguably has some baggage. And she is hated even more than Rush is hated. Being on radio or TV shields you from some of that while getting in the political arena may not.
CNN could steal some of Fox’s mojo by giving Sarah a no-holds-barred TV show. But they won’t since they are kowtowing to Axelrod’s missive that the media not provide any opposition to The One.
But Beck and Sarah on TV! Could be terrific!
Everyone is looking for Sarah to begin talking about detailed and serious policy proposals - a platform - to address the National issues faced by the President today. She has not done this - yet.
If she does a talk show, I hope it is like Buckley’s show where serious discussion and debate on various ideologies, proposals and ideas are debated, which will make Tucker and all the rest of the commentators look like the stupid and shallow metrosexuals they are.
Those talking heads are jealous of her talents. As professionals, they recognize her gift and realize that in the TV talent pool they are minor leaguers compared to her. I wouldn’t read this as negatively as you do; in some ways, it’s a compliment even if grudging.
From a money standpoint, her future as a TV host would make her a lot richer, something that she has to consider with her family. If she makes another failed run in politics, the financial future wouldn’t be nearly as bright.
Just saying...
24 7 365.....
They have an awful lot of time to fill before candidates announce for 2012. They are told by their superiors what to speculate about on the air. Very little of it is spontaneous.
I’m wondering if Fox News has jumped the shark. It’s getting more liberal every day, with one or two possible exceptions. Even this morning, I had to turn off Bulls and Bears AGAIN, because instead of having financial wizards on the show, they have a couple of money people and a couple of talking-points idiots from the DNC. They know nothing about the issues, only the talking points, but that doesn’t slow them down. So I’ve given up on those Saturday morning shows. (Don’t the ‘Rats have ANYONE who knows anything about business??)
Palin is an attractive personality, but I am unsure of how well she would do under the sustained scrutiny of a Presidential campaign. This is not a slam on Palin but simply an observation that running for President is one of the hardest political tasks that there is.
I think she would do rather well, now that she is no longer on anyone’s leash.
I just started reading her book, up to page 84. She’s got one heck of a resolve!!
I’ve heard her speak of growing up, living and working in Alaska, but to read the actual details, seems she’s got a lot more spine than I gave her credit for!
