I called the bookstore here she’ll be at in December, and talked to a nice lady who gave me tips and details (since I might be wagging the twins and their giganto stroller along, it’s nice to know these things in advance) and she said they’ve been getting a LOT of calls about Sarah’s visit!! Can’t wait! :-)

The bookstore lady I talked to today said no pictures are allowed in the booksigning area (so no pics of you with Sarah, wah) but you can take pics farther back in the line if you want. Maybe I should get a stranger to take pics of me and my daughter when we go? :-)

Facebook is actually useful in comparison to Myspace and the like that are so popular with the teenyboppers.

I signed on to FB for the first time just a few weeks ago and I was quite surprised how functional it really is. As soon as I set up a very basic profile the system delivered a list of people I actually knew, including many I hadn't seen in over 30 years. It has actually been quite pleasant being able to reconnect with some of those folks.

The lady at the bookstore here told me it *might* be a good idea to get to the store by 6 am—the signing is scheduled from 11-2pm!!! Sounds like they are expecting a crowd!!! :-)
