Michael Steele, the RNC Chair and NRCC Chair Pete Sessions have shown they arent up to their jobs.
This is an awful situation. Have Steele and Sessions made a big enough mess of NY 23?
These two geniuses backed a Working Families Party/ACORN rodent in Dede Scozzafava, who has now rubbed our noses in her treachery! After dropping out Scozzafava has Trojan Horsed us and asked her supporters to vote for Owens the registered Democrat.
Clearly Mr. Steele was an affirmative action panicky mistake from the day he took office. Now his selection is hurting us. He just doesnt use facts. Steele said he backed ACORNs Scozzafava because the man being replaced (John McHugh) voted not much differently than Scozzafava votes in the New York Assembly. McHugh had a 71% American Conservative Union rating!
Now that Scozzafava is out of the race Pete Sessions, who spent hundreds of thousands of our dollars running spots against Doug Hoffman and sent paid for ground troops to work AGAINST him, is calling Do over! Both organizations are now supporting Hoffman and will undoubtedly be celebrating should he win tomorrow.
Maybe the new predictions about the outcome of this race will be right, but what if the attack ads run by Sessions worked? What if the people who were pitched door to door were convinced Scozzafava should be elected?
Will Sessions send the same people to the same doors saying Oops make that Doug Hoffman.?
What if Scozzafavas loonies listen to her?
Hoffman can still lose this race and moral victories mean nothing in politics. If he loses Steele and Sessions cant be allowed to say Ooops and walk away..
If Doug wins we cant let the euphoria cloud our next mission. We have to boot both of these frauds and do so quickly.

Not one penny to the national GOP. I only contribute directly to selected candidates such as Hoffman to whom I twice contributed.
Entrenched, status-quo statists. Let’s play musical chairs or (pin-the-tail on the donkey) and remove their chairs
Top's a good place to start tearing down the GOP down for the purpose of rebuilding it so it'll be as it should've been all along.
Don’t forget nEwt in his letter of support of this POS RINo he stated she is the “new direction of the republican party.”
Hey Newt how’s that global warming thing working for you and Nancy?
This one will NOT be soon forgotten!! And they are NOT going to co-opt this as a "Republican Win" despite they shamelessly trying to jump on the train as it leaves the station, thinking nobody will notice or will have short memmories. Nope, it will be a "CONSERVATIVE" WIN, A GRASSROOTS WIN, A TEA PARTY WIN, A TOWN-HALLER WIN, A 9-12 PROJECT WIN, A SARAH-PALIN WIN, AN ANTI-OBAMBA WIN.
I agree, nothing has changed with the same people in charge.
There will be HOLY HELL TO PAY, for the RNC and specifically the NRCC, come victory or defeat for Mr. Hoffman.

Hell hath no fury like a RINO scorned.
“Clearly Mr. Steele was an affirmative action panicky mistake from the day he took office. Now his selection is hurting us. He just doesnt use facts.”
Michael Steele, and apparently much of the Republican leadership live in a different reality than those their Political Party leadership is supposed to serve.
The gathering of substantial funding from dubious sources with conditions attached seems to be preferred to the gathering of funding from substantial quantities of true supporters of the traditional Conservative platform.
That platform today is but a faded billboard at the side of what used to be the major highway.
I've been getting NRC solicitations in the mail lately. I've gotten four of them now. I've never been a member of the Republican Party and my state doesn't require me to register to vote with any party affiliation. I've taken to pulling out a red Sharpie and writing:
"No More RINO's! Not one penny until the RNC returns to Conservative and sticks with principles!"
on their donation form. Then, I stick it in their business reply envelope and mail it back. I figure it costs them money to send it to me. It costs them money when I mail it back and it costs them money when they have to pay someone to open it.....If every Conservative who gets one of these solicitations did this I think the RNC might get a slight hint....
I will NEVER donate to the narional GOP. I will only donate to support candidates.
Steele has been a loser since day one with his “Big Tent” philosophy.
The GOP will be a minority for years on the sidelines if Steele continues to hijack the GOP.
“After dropping out Scozzafava has Trojan Horsed us and asked her supporters to vote for Owens the registered Democrat. “
It confirms what I have always said. This isn’t a 2 party system in America, it’s one big party in Washington, at the taxpayer’s expense.
And Steele is a destructive force. The longer he’s left in place, the further down the GOP will fall.
Steele and Newt were admonished for backing a Dem Lite candidate and neither woulod admit their mistake. Now we find, after her endorsement, that she’s anti-GOP and a full fledged Democrat.
Newt and Steele should step away from the GOP and go do something else.
If the writer gets his way, Obama will win again in 2012. I can’t abide with the racist insults hurled at Steele, and conservatives should be careful before embrasing the kind of divisive politics this writer calls for.
I support Hoffman, and wish that all good Republicans had from the start, but I will not kill the party because I got my feelings hurt.

Here's the full statement issued today. Doug Hoffman has our full support for the next available seat on the House Armed Services Committee so he can best serve the interests of Fort Drum and the troops and military families of New Yorks Twenty-Third Congressional District. The strategic and economic importance of this military base... |
You know they don't read your response to their stupid surveys, they only look for MONEY and toss the rest. I am positive they DO see all the negative writing I put all over the survey before I send it back, otherwise they don't care what we think on anything. Those surveys are only designed to make us think we are important and keep us busy, just like those awful sweepstakes mail, with all the stamps and to-do's to find/scratch off and attach.
Yes, but they do pay attention to gross receipts. Using their own form and business reply mail costs them money, even if they don't read it or care what I wrote. If enough people did it a clear message would be sent. Gotta take those little victories wherever you can!
I guess their lowly conservative supporters don't throw nice enough parties. I'm increasingly convinced that Republican "leadership" is in it for the fringe benefits of being a DC "insider".
