A Democrat poll has Doug + 17 now so ACORN won't be able to steal this one but that's no reason to give Steele and Sessions a pass. If we can get some real leaders in this postions before January ends we can clean up next year.

Not one penny to the national GOP. I only contribute directly to selected candidates such as Hoffman to whom I twice contributed.

Entrenched, status-quo statists. Let’s play musical chairs or (pin-the-tail on the donkey) and remove their chairs

Don’t forget nEwt in his letter of support of this POS RINo he stated she is the “new direction of the republican party.”

Hey Newt how’s that global warming thing working for you and Nancy?

I agree, nothing has changed with the same people in charge.

After dropping out Scozzafava has “Trojan Horsed” us and asked her supporters to vote for Owens the registered Democrat.

Hell hath no fury like a RINO scorned.

“Clearly Mr. Steele was an affirmative action panicky mistake from the day he took office. Now his selection is hurting us. He just doesn’t use facts.”

Michael Steele, and apparently much of the Republican leadership live in a different reality than those their Political Party leadership is supposed to serve.

The gathering of substantial funding from dubious sources with conditions attached seems to be preferred to the gathering of funding from substantial quantities of true supporters of the traditional Conservative platform.

That platform today is but a faded billboard at the side of what used to be the major highway.

I will NEVER donate to the narional GOP. I will only donate to support candidates.

Steele has been a loser since day one with his “Big Tent” philosophy.

The GOP will be a minority for years on the sidelines if Steele continues to hijack the GOP.

“After dropping out Scozzafava has “Trojan Horsed” us and asked her supporters to vote for Owens the registered Democrat. “

It confirms what I have always said. This isn’t a 2 party system in America, it’s one big party in Washington, at the taxpayer’s expense.

And Steele is a destructive force. The longer he’s left in place, the further down the GOP will fall.

Steele and Newt were admonished for backing a Dem Lite candidate and neither woulod admit their mistake. Now we find, after her endorsement, that she’s anti-GOP and a full fledged Democrat.

Newt and Steele should step away from the GOP and go do something else.

If the writer gets his way, Obama will win again in 2012. I can’t abide with the racist insults hurled at Steele, and conservatives should be careful before embrasing the kind of divisive politics this writer calls for.

I support Hoffman, and wish that all good Republicans had from the start, but I will not kill the party because I got my feelings hurt.

I reside in Pete Sessions district.....he has always been a staunch conservative... I am at a loss to understand how he could have done such a stupid thing. I went to his site to tell him what a disappointment his backing of such an awful candidate has been but the system would not let me send the message...I suspect it is overloaded....we in Texas don’t take kindly to such idiocy....he may be in trouble come 2010.

In all fairness, the national party had nothing to do with Scuzzy’s selection as the candidate. That was a local party decision. But to throw $900,000 in party funds to elect her when there was a solid, credible conservative in the race was a mistake.

Boy, wouldn’t be great to be a fly on the wall at the Republican national headquarters right now?

>> Michael Steele, the RNC Chair and NRCC Chair Pete Sessions have shown they aren’t up to their jobs.

Now, wouldn’t it be fun to put Sarah in charge of the GOP for a little while.

This should also poison any hopes that Newt Gingrich may harbor of being someone in 2012. His defense of the endorsement was especially lame, and pretty dishonest.

All those photo sessions with Clinton, Pelosi and Sharpton have curdled his gray matter.
