"Republican Dede Scozzafava today endorsed Democrat Bill Owens, her former opponent, in Tuesday's election to fill the North Country congressional seat formerly held by John McHugh.
Scozzafava suspended her campaign for the 23rd District seat Saturday, citing weak poll numbers and inadequate campaign funds.
In a statement released this afternoon, she called Owens ''an independent voice devoted to doing what is right for New York.''"

“McCain will win the primary with 70 - 75 percent of the votes. He will win the general with 65 - 70.”
Really? Is he that popular even after the crap he’s pulled? I just don’t see it. But, I could very well be missing something. It wouldn’t be the first time.
Good enough, then. Add his RINO ass to the “bye-bye” list.
Romney at his peak had perhaps a 2-1 cash advantage over his nearest opponent. I would bet at this point McCain has easily greater than a 10-1 cash advantage.
“I would bet at this point McCain has easily greater than a 10-1 cash advantage.”
That much? If that’s true, he’s running unopposed.
NO MORE RINOs |

Conservatism needs to remain in the tent of the Republican Party, but the tent should not have much space reserved for RINOs - and campaign donation ($upport) needs to be diminished to those not toeing the line for minimal government, minimal taxes, strong national security, constitutional fundamentalism, and protection of personal liberties.
NO THIRD PARTY!
“I was worried about the New Jersey election until Ms. Dede opened her slimy RINO mouth. She has once again demonstrated that current Republican candidates need to be thoroughly scrutinized and that may be enough to guarantee that true Conservatives vote their conscience and instead of their fears in New Jersey.”
And who would a “true Conservative” vote for in New Jersey? Nobody on the ballot for Governor is a true conservative, that’s for sure. Steve Lonegan lost the Republican primary.
In politics we often need to vote to defeat the evil of the two lessers, which in New Jersey is Jon Corzine. I’ll be out on Tuesday casting my vote for RINO Chris Christie, because Jon Corzine is that bad.
Last November I was out working for McCain/Palin, not because I wanted RINO McCain, but in a vain effort to stop communist Obama. And given the same rotten choice in 2012 I’ll do the same thing.
Simcox has $80,000. McCain has eleven million. Simcox will get some protest votes, that's all and those have always been there. The Democrats have no one to run against him. No one.
Then let’s hope we’ve seen the beginning of the end of bought elections.
The only credible challenger I’ve heard of at this point is an ex-congressman who lost his seat to a Democrat (and hasn’t even declared yet). Not very encouraging.
That is what CFR was all about.
BTTT
I vote in Florida... and Crist will only get my vote if he pays me 5 million dollars or more.
:-P
(With that kinda cash, I can retire and then move to Texas.)

I like JD and I would rather drink beer and shoot the bull with him than McCain but he's just not in the same league. I would much rather have McCain in Goldwater's seat.
Which McCain is that again?
I call and email at least once a month.
Oh hell no. I lived through this:

and will resign my office in club over it three days from now. RINOs need to get a life and understand that we will no longer put up with their crap and kotowing to dem demands. We are conservative and here to kick butt.
I would bet at this point McCain has easily greater than a 10-1 cash advantage.
If that is so, then about 9-1 is from the Left.
What pray tell is a “RINO IMPOSTER”?
