The only direction those numbers will change is on the upside. McCain is McCain. He's like the mean Aunt that makes you eat your brocolli. He's grating and usually exasperating but he's a damn fine Senator.

Simcox has $80,000. McCain has eleven million. Simcox will get some protest votes, that's all and those have always been there. The Democrats have no one to run against him. No one.

Then let’s hope we’ve seen the beginning of the end of bought elections.

MM,

He's grating and usually exasperating but he's a damn fine Senator.

Good grief!

Why do you stump for McCain on a CONSERVATIVE blog? Do you need a reminder that this is not about Republicanism - but about Conservatism? I recall many posts from Jim Robinson on McCain...

Hayworth would get stomped.

I like JD and I would rather drink beer and shoot the bull with him than McCain but he's just not in the same league. I would much rather have McCain in Goldwater's seat.

Stumping for McCain after his decade + of spitting on conservatives, sending his minions Graham & Meghan to do his dirty work, and his obvious spineless and weak campaign in 2008 is a disgrace to this fine conservative forum.

Shame on you, Sir! Shame on you!
