Just announced by Jennifer Griffith in a live interview, WH has asked Pentagon for a formal assessment of a withdrawal from Afghanistan, that the Afghan War is no longer in our nations interest, blamed the Afghan elections.
No, he shouldn't. WE THE PEOPLE SHOULD.
It is gonna happen. He changed the Rules of Engagement so our boys are sitting ducks.
This is all about humiliating our country and military for his bosses in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Indonesia and other Islamo-capitals.
He will announce another communist female to SCOTUS
and then the NWO and new currency.
NO WAIT in their NWO the international court rules...
He will just announce he is getting a kitten for his kids and Michelle got a new dress.
YEAH THAT’S IT.
The attack on New York in September 2001 required a response that could prevent a recurrence.
This, in turn, required a government wise in the ways of power and the instrumentalities of war, which we did not have.
These maleficent savages who inhabit Afghanistan needed to be taught an unforgettable lesson, and they still do.
Instead, they have been shown weakness after weakness, craven cowardice after craven cowardice, while in the meantime we have intruded into their domestic affairs to a literally incredible degree. My congressthing was over there this summer presuming to instruct them in the proper organization of the marital relationship.
The country does not need to be turned into a glass parking lot. That would be barbaric - murdering hundreds of thousands of innocents who only want to live out their brutal, savage, and short lives according to the instructions of their religion.
What should have been done was the nuclear destruction of Tora Bora as soon as Bin Laden's presence was confirmed (Kandahar would have done just as well, a month earlier).
The main point is that such destruction should have been immediate, implacable, and accomplished by invisible (seemingly magical) instrumentalities.
After the mushroom clouds cleared, we should have told the survivors - "Live how you like. We don't care how you raise your children, what you do with your women, what god you worship, or how, We don't care what you grow, how you choose your barbarian chiefs, how you arrange your civic affairs (to the extent that you have any). But consider this - we just delivered four hydrogen bombs to your land. We have 12 000 more. Don't f*ck with us again - and we'll be watching".
What happens now was decided after our failure to embrace victory in 2001. Withdrawal is inevitable - if not now, next year, and if not next year, then the year after that, and so on.
There is NOTHING in Afghanistan which is worth the dusty bones of a single Pomeranian Pennsylvanian grenadier.
McChrystal makes clear that his call for more forces is predicated on the adoption of a strategy in which troops emphasize protecting Afghans rather than killing insurgents or controlling territory.”
~~~
McChrystal is a damned fool if he thinks that there is any
better way to protect Afghans than to kill insurgents!!!
SEARCH AND DESTROY!!!
Yeah I remember reading an article on the rules of engagement. It was mixed in with our soldiers having to read miranda rights to the ragheads. I can’t believe what I just said (typed) is realITY.
You know what, bring em home.
My brother just got his clusters pinned, and is trying to get back to a deployed combat unit.
The waiting list for officers is HUGE....
That’s why we need to cut back on the perks. I wonder why no one has ever come up with the idea of creating a website that details how much money is spent and it could be a periodical permanent thing that keeps the politicos on their toes. America is really taking their lives back and I think we’re going to be just fine.
Remember, no one thought the country would even be created against the brits. Then there was the civil war and both world wars.
All in only nine months.
Obama has yet to define U.S. objectives in AfghanistanAs the Obama administration and Congress begin a heated debate about how many more American troops to send to Afghanistan, military observers, soldiers on the ground there and some top Pentagon officials are warning that dispatching even tens of thousands more soldiers and Marines might not ensure success.
Some even fear that deploying more U.S. troops, especially in the wake of a U.S. airstrike last week that killed and wounded scores of Afghan civilians, would convince more Afghans that the Americans are occupiers rather than allies and relieve the pressure on the Afghan government to improve its own security forces.
The heart of the problem, soldiers fighting in Afghanistan and some officials in Washington told McClatchy Newspapers, is that neither Barack Obama's White House nor the Pentagon has clearly defined America's mission in Afghanistan. As a result, some soldiers in the field said, they aren't sure what their objectives are.
“This would be political suicide”
I’m not so sure. I have been waiting for the Dear Leader administration to come up with a major distraction. The arresting of terrorists this week, and now the potential big announcement about Afghanistan is a very clever diversion from the health care debacle, which Congress will push through while everyone is focussed on Afghanistan.
I don’t think we should underestimate the cleverness of the evil one.
If 0bama isn’t going to get serious about winning (which he isn’t) we should absolutely leave. Why have any more Americans die to prove he his ‘tough’ on terrorism? Hate to say it, but the sooner Mullah Omar and OBL roll back into Kabul in style, the sooner we can hang a lost war on 0bama.
I hate to see us lose another war, but if he is hell bent on losing let’s lose it now and at least save some of our troops lives.
Sure we will pay the price when another 9/11 happens, but he isn’t planning on stopping that anyway.
well said. he is a sleeper the enemy is within.
Rant:
How dare you Obama! You have just made it that thousands of our soldiers lives were lost for what? Nothing! I hope you can sleep at night, Mr. President. You have left America wide open for attack and appeased our enemies, while calling the beacon of Freedom in the world worse than Hitler. Shame on you Obama.
My language is way harsher and not politically correct.
New Column: Obamas Competing Waterloos
by David Limbaugh
SNIPPET: Sen. Jim DeMint predicted that Obamacare would be President Barack Obamas Waterloo. While thats certainly a strong possibility, Obama has other Waterloos in the wings competing for the prize, such as his monstrous deficits and his disastrous foreign policy.
The Heritage Foundation reports that Obamas budget would produce $13 trillion in deficits over the next decade, even more than the outrageous $9 trillion previously projected. This is nation-shattering stuff, folks, and Obama and his minions remain unflappable, intent on staying the bankrupting course, sporting Alfred E. Neuman, What, me worry? expressions. The fact that we know they cant be that oblivious is what makes us wonder whether something more sinister lurks in their motives.
But Obamas foreign policy is shaping up to be every bit as dangerous. Because he has lived in a relatively cloistered political world surrounded and shielded by mostly fellow leftist radicals he apparently doesnt realize just how repugnant his appeasement policies and mantralike derision of this nation are to most Americans.
When I first heard that he was Mirandizing al-Qaida on the battlefield, I thought it was political satire. But it wasnt, any more than his scrapping of long-range missile defense or his apparent plan to unilaterally disarm us of our nuclear weapons.
Then theres Afghanistan...
