U.S. Attorney Jim Letten and Acting U.S. Marshal Steven M. Hartman will discuss developments in a "major enforcement operation" during a 3 p.m. press conference today, according to a news release from Letten's office.

The release didn’t provide details about the operation and said officials would not disclose them before the press conference.

Letten and Hartman are both federal officials with the Eastern District of Louisiana. [END]

Hopeful this is major news in the Acorn fight, but Acorn has lots of friends in Gov’t...

Eastern District of Louisiana

Well that is where ACORN and SEIU are located. I just don't see Obama letting his allies get skunked this way. Unless this is some kind of Night of the Long Knives deal where the Blue Dogs said they would not back Obama on Obamacare and Cap & Tax unless he got rid of ACORN.

well that was useful information.

If you are not willing to give us a theme, then maybe you have nothing to say and we can go about our day, without wasting time listening to your non-announcement.

Have a good day

My guesses on who is being arrested:
  1. More terrorists
  2. Pelosi for the murder of that Census worker in KY, so that her prophecy of bloodshed would come true.
  3. Obama for being an undocumented worker.
  4. Truthers and putting them in interment camps.
  5. Glenn Beck on the falsified internet rape report.
  6. Osama Bin Laden who has been living in the same neighborhood as Obama and Bill Ayers for the last several years.
  7. The journalist who revealed that Ayers really did write Obama's book Dreams of my Father.
  8. Everyone reported to the White House healthcare snitch line as opposing healthcare that is not a recognized liberal.
  9. Jews, in a good faith gesture towards Imanutjob.
  10. Rush Limbaugh for failure to provide opposing comments.

Considering Jim’s office operates under authority of Atty. Gen. Holeder’s direction, I seriously doubt it’s Acorn or SEIU. I do hope it’s Chocolate City Ray, though!

More likely Fox News and the two investigative journalists who went after ACORN.

If that’s what it would take, then I’d say let ACORN walk...it’s not worth it to be sacked w/Cap and Tax and Obamacare.

I wonder if this is ACORN?

ACORN needs to be 'squashed' under RICO!

Acorn has an office in New Orleans with 190+ affiliates in the same building.

It won't be ACORN. It will be a wide ranging investigation on the web involving outspoken conservatives, and will likely involve the restriction of free speech and freedom of assembly under the Homeland Security law.

The tea party march in Washington of 1.2 million has them quite afraid, and they know that American grass roots is on the move.

They want to deflate conservatives.

Thats my bet, and I might be wrong, but that move is coming sooner or later.

"What’s 5 (Beck) about? Misseed it..."

Apparently there was this falsified rape report on the internet where someone had photoshopped Glenn Beck's name onto the report.

A couple of weeks ago, MSNBC had said they were going to reveal something truly awful about Glenn Beck. So I went searching on the internet for what was up. And there were reports that this debunked report had resurfaced. MSNBC never did reveal anything that I'm aware of. So I guess they must have realized it was another case of "fake but accurate" and backed off.
