The 2010 elections are approaching. The election process has two distinct steps.
FIRST the primaries.
Then, and only then, the general election. Polarizing Republicans right now is not only (not!) a bad thing - it’s crucial. The GOP needs to be RECAPTURED. That if it happens will be by right wing extremists who are fired up and ready to storm the ramparts.
Not Casper Milquetoast “moderates”.

It makes me wonder what Beck really thinks about the current situation with the government, actually if he doesn't see the difference between them I have got to wonder about him. That's not to say McCain wouldn't have had problems but he isn't a incompetent Socialist surrounded by crooks and communist. Beck goes down a notch or two in my mind.
Um, what am I missing? Beck spoke to Couric and she's the MSM, right? Mark's comments WERE on his own show. What are you talking about?
Beck’s ‘move’ was wrong in this instance. I don’t care if it has been a career position.

Mark wants no slot on Fox. He says what he means and means what he says. Beck is the one eating “his” own. Actually, that is wrong; it he was eating his own, he’d be eating his wallet.
Why in the world would any Republican want to show they are not anti-Obama?

McCain should never have “won” the GOP nomination. Have we fixed that problem yet? You know the one I’m talking about. The one where DemocRATS crossed over and elected McCain in the GOP primary cause they KNEW he was:
a) one of them; and/or
b) easier to defeat
No. I’m sure we have NOT fixed that problem. That would require members of the GOP to get elective surgery and acquire some nads, for a refreshing change.

I think it’s kind of clever for Beck to say this. It gets Hillary and her supporters more aligned with our side than with Obama’s. So far, Beck’s done a lot to damage Obama & I would say there is a strategy to everything he says.
He’s had a change of heart of late. He says he’s a Libertarian, dunno.
As for Conservative vs. Lib’s on Economics. Both favor the free market but ‘might’ differ on Monetary policy.
Conservatives tend to favor Monetarism, while Libs would favor more of a Austrian view.
