Conservatives tend to favor Monetarism, while Libs would favor more of a Austrian view.
Subtle distinction for a non-economist. Moreover, I don't know too many conservatives (post-Nixon) that favor a Keynesian viewpoint (even a more subtle distinction from Monetarism).
