It should be much lower. But ACORN and Van Jones were not really reported on by the MSM.

We need to find a vehicle to reach the dumbed down segment of the population.

1 million plus march on DC and it is reported as 70K. So maddening.

Øbamao just officially made war on marriage by forging an attack on DOMA this last week. If this doesn’t drop him in the polls, America is lost.

Can’t wait to get to the double digits, although the press will ignore it.

No, it’s BAD NEWS. It’s up 5 points from a month ago. We’ve had ACORN for prostitutes, Van Johnson, and ObamaCare since it was at -14 in August. What’s the deal?

He got a bump from his speech to Congress, probably mostly due to the white guilt syndrome since mean old Joe Wilson yelled at him. But in any case he went up to a -4 after the speech. That he has so quickly headed back down to a -9 is indeed good news. After Obama fatigue takes hold from this morning's gab/gag fest on 5 morning shows I think he will soon see his -14 numbers!

“some heavy negatives” = abandoning our few real allies. Missile shield. Pulling the rug from friends doesn’t sit well with MOST Americans, Repub or Dem.

"No, it’s BAD NEWS. "

The trend is your friend, and he is trending DOwnnnnn. He's thrown everything he had at it and it's STILL coming down. He can't keep up this pace. He can't keep going "in front of the American people." He's overexposed already. Even the NYT said so yesterday. He's toast. After his 5 shows this Sunday, his numbers will go up a little, maybe as much as a 3-point bounce? Then it's ON. He's toast.

No, it’s BAD NEWS.”

No it isn't.

It’s up 5 points from a month ago.”

Well his overall approval is also down from 65% in January, to only 49% today. That's a fall of 16%.
You are looking at it from the glass is half full point of view. I am looking at it from the glass is half empty point of view.
These weekly/daily fluctuations are pretty much standard in most political polls. Important thing is, 0bozo’s approval ratings have been trending down since he was sworn in, back in January.

We’ve had ACORN for prostitutes, Van Johnson, and ObamaCare since it was at -14 in August. What’s the deal?”

We've also had a prime time TV address to the congress, that sent his ratings shooting up in the week following that. We should be happy his post speech bounce is fast evaporating. Remember, just a few days ago, his strongly disapprove/strongly approve was at only -3. Today, its at -9. That's just gotta be very good news.

Maybe no bounce. He is yakking to the choir at this point.
I agree to wait until the holiday spending or non spending becomes a factor. I really don’t think many jobs gone will resurface next year either. The NAFTA and CAFTA agreements might be hurting us more. Globalism helps the rich—those in power and elites - that can benefit from it. The middle class won’t be helped. What can this country do without its middle class?

____________________________________________________________

His double-digit negatives occurred during the health care fiasco in August. He was losing his own lefty base because of the talk about losing the public option. However, his speech reassured his base that they will fight for a public option, so that’s why his numbers somewhat rebounded.

Don’t worry; he’s lost most of the Republicans and Indies; it’s his base that is propping up his numbers. Once a final health care is settled upon, and his lefty base sees that there is not a public option, his numbers will drop even more dramatically.

Consider he will never get below 30-35% strongly approve due to the: wide eyed supporters and blacks, who voted 97% for him and still have him in high regard. The drop in support of independents is a career changer for der leader.

You have to go back to January 21 to see the long term trend.

I went back to Jan. a week or so ago and calculated he should be at about the -18 mark by now.

You can try to extrapolate all you want. Here is what is relevant: On January 21,2009 0bama enjoyed strongly approve ratings of over 40% and strongly disapprove of about 15%. Today, 31% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove.

That is a remarkable turnaround. And Obama's ratings have declined faster than any recent President, including Bush. I really can't get excited over the daily ratings, which go up and down. It is the long term that matters.
