'Totally Strange' Hurdia a Hurdle for Evolution
ICR ^ | September 9, 2009 | Brian Thomas, M.S.

Posted on 09/09/2009 10:05:48 AM PDT by GodGunsGuts

Cambrian rock layers contain fossils that represent almost every modern phylum of animal, plus many that are now extinct. One animal fossil in particular would win the weird prize, if there were one. Paleontologists have been piecing together this strange creature’s body parts, which look as though they were taken from an array of totally different sea animals. This variety of features eludes an evolutionary explanation.

The parts of this particular fossilized animal had previously been described separately and given different names, as though they belonged to different creatures. But a recent study revealed that all these parts came from just one “totally strange” sea creature...

NO.

You state what the purpose of the question is.

I will not play your cute little “wedge” game.

What are you afraid of? It’s a simple question, really.

Bucky wants to earn his way to heaven without Accepting Christ as savior like the bible states we must in order to be saved- He thinks earnign his way is paramount ot ‘accepting’ Christ- it’s not- but he wishes everyone ot beleive as he does which is why he keeps asking over and over again even though he’s been told many many many times how to be saved- he refuses, but stil lwants to be caleld a ‘Christian’ DESPITE refusing to do What Christ asks when it comes to salvation

Again, answer why you keep posting it.

You’ll get no cooperation out of me in your Catholic/Christian bashing, you can count on that.

Oh really... well, he’s simply ignorant then.

It’s really quite simple and laid out in the NT in plain words.

Perhaps a bit more study and he wouldn’t ask such ignorant questions anymore.

I’m bashing neither. Why would I? I am a Christian. A number of freepers, though, have already answered the question in the negative, that is, that they do not believe that Catholics are Christians. That’s astounding.

How do you feel about it?

According to evolutionary teaching, the “Geologic Column” is a map of evolutionary history. Supposedly all fossils fit into a specific order, simple to complex. However, some flaws are to be found. Recently, fish scales were found in the “Cambrian layer” when according to the “column”, fish did not appear until much later.

I think you’re just trying to cause divisiveness where there isn’t any.

Sorry, not playing.

[[Perhaps a bit more study and he wouldn’t ask such ignorant questions anymore.]]

Don’t bet on it- He’s been given the answer many many many times, but apparently he still wants to simply earn his way to heaven without acceptiong Christ as Savior as spelled out in God’s word AND be patted on the back as though he were a TRUE Christian- He apparently can’t stand the idea that people beleive God’s word and state the truth as
God laid it out in His word

Why would you see divisiveness? Divisiveness would only occur if your response was negative. I’ll assume, then, that your answer is “no”.

I have a “liberal Christian” inlaw that, when shown how her ideology conflicts with the plain text of the Bible,

declared that it was “written by angry men” - denying, therefore, the divine inspiration of the Word. (She would have used “white men”, but knew better.)

You like to call names a lot, don't you?

Typical leftist drivel.
your fellow liberals
liberal logic 101
Alot of lunatic liberals
you affix O-zerrhoid logos to your name on other dummy sites...your cred tanked permanently...0-bucket-0-poo
kool-aid drinking liberals

That combined with your level of literacy (alot?) indicates
that you must be a maladjusted twelve year old girl
with emotional problems and a poor self image.

Cheers.

OK, then, so following up on that assumption which you have permitted me to make, why do you deny the Christianity of Catholics?

I don’t argue the rightness or wrongness of evolution.

Government should get out of the education business on every level. Do this and most of these evolution wars will end.

Well, that’s not why I pinged you...but included you for your expertise in failed gubmint screwels.

Thanks, you never disappoint on that front. Well said.

Government has been an abysmal failure in schools and yet the closet FR liberals continue squaking in their support of science enforced by lawsuits.

If it advances their ideology and agenda...they’ll support the NEA, ACLU and then they wonder why normal people without multiple God-hang-ups rightly point out that they’re indeed liberals, sticking out like giant sore thumbs!

GGG since you claim to regularly send “evos” crying after a debate I challenge you to try that outside of this echo chamber of yours. I would like to see you present your arguments at another site and see how long you last. My guess would be about 2 or 3 post.

I do seriously doubt that will take up this challenge since it would require more than your circular reasoning, misdirection, insults, and name-calling. Plus not having your cheerleaders to assist in the insults, and name-calling.

As they say if you talk the talk you need to walk to walk….

No...I won’t overlook any liberal that demands to be heard and indicate they can fling poo with the likes of any Chrissy-Fit Matthews, but get sore when a little bit makes it back into their cage or general direction.

OK, then, so following up on that assumption which you have permitted me to make,.....

You really assume a lot.

Too bad for you that so many people are on to your game and refuse to play. It must be frustrating to have to play by yourself for them by assuming that they are answering and going on with the game.
