The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Sunday shows that 27% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-one percent (41%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -14. These figures mark the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for this President. The previous low of -12 was reached on July 30 (see trends).
Prior to today, the number who Strongly Approved of the President’s performance had never fallen below 29%. Some of the decline has come from within the President’s own party. Just 49% of Democrats offer such a positive assessment of the President at this time.
At the other end of the spectrum, today’s total for Strongly Disapprove matches the highest level yet recorded. The 41% mark was reached just once before and that came one week ago today. Seventy percent (70%) of Republicans now Strongly Disapprove along with 49% of those not affiliated with either major party.

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates also available on Twitter and Facebook.
Overall, 48% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) now disapprove.

There is no ‘compromise’ when writing a Constitution; you can't have an Article proclaiming political free speech one half of the time, or half a right to own firearms - one either does or does not possess a ‘right’.
Congress must also appoint the Delegates - of whom (right now) would all be extreme leftists/statits; ALL of whom would be in favor of throwing out the present Constitution - else they would not be Delegates in the first place.
The only way the will or wants of citizens can be expressed at that point is by armed rebellion, else be saddled with whatever the Delegates came up with. There is no public input into this process, and the final version would be proclaimed as THE Constitution and therefore ‘the law of the land’.

Actually such an event would be ideal from Hussein's perspective. However, his personal survivability would be greatly in doubt. And that's where the Civilian National Security Force will come in.
I think that the actual Second Civil War, should it happen, will not be the people against Hussein, but factions within the Civilian National Security Force which will bring it about: i.e. the Northern ACORN faction vs. the Southwestern Drug Lords.
I suspect that the idea of a 'Civilian National Security Force' died out completely within the first month or two of this administration. Probably having something to do with the incredible rise in the sale of firearms and especially ammunition. Even if Zero were stupid enough to try to implement this, people who value their lives would have explained how bad an idea this was to him.
Besides, if no move or process has been started to produce such a 'force' by now, it would be impossible to do so and have it be a useful entity in time to be of use. As fast as this administration is imploding just the first moves to generate such a force would produce the very thing he would need it to fight.
I don't think anyone on their side EVER expected things to go into the toilet this fast, and with essentially NO help (or interference) from the Republicans. Somewhere—I disremember where right now—someone told me that the fastest and most thorough way to destroy a machine is to run it the way it is supposed to go, but much faster than it is designed to run.
And they're doing it all by themselves!

That is the whole point that will lead, or not lead to electoral success. imho, I’ll take strong conservative messages like Reagan’s and you know what, we’re in a HUGE fiscal/debt crisis, so it will be really hard to screw this up. Anything will look better than this - but we don’t just want to end up with ‘anything’ - we want something that will help this nation come back to life.

You can only use that “Bush’s fault” and “mess I inherited” for so long, then it starts to sound like a kid who keeps breaking windows on your house with a baseball! At the beginning of the Year 2011, the last two remaining states sign on to the call for a Constitutional Convention which Congress must call, meanwhile the New Americorp sectional rivalry reaches a fever peak and splits into a Northern and Southwestern factions.
By the end of the Year 2011 the Delegates have worked out a new Constitution defining what Government is permitted, but omitting anything about what either States or citizens are permitted. The US Military and its various other organizations are disbanded with all toys placed under control of the New Americorp.
In the Spring of the Year 2012, the rivalry between the New Americorp factions erupts into violence as the Southwestern faction controlled by Mexican Drug Lords attacks the Northern faction controlled by ACORN.
By summer of the same year, the Second American Civil War becomes a reality. Hussein is forced into exile.
Yeah, and still got elected. I wouldn't seem possible. But now, up is down and evil is good. The Bible warned us.
