Any poll showing volatility should automatically be viewed with caution
++++++++++++++++

Have you been witnessing the Alinsky tactics of zero and team? That will automatically bring in volatility...there’s a large group of people that don’t know/dont’ care about this - and are confused by it...

I think that’s the volatility we’re seeing, to some degree.

Yes, yes, yes. I agree, but it won’t matter. If they get this in, we will need 30 in the Senate and 100 or more in the House and . . . here’s the clincher . . . every single one has to be a committed conservative ideologue and NOT a “Republican” or you will still need more on top of that. I think you are seriously underestimating the effort it’s going to take to undo this program if they get it in place.

I've said repeatedly I think if it passes we will need at least 100 more House seats and 30 more senate seats (assuming a couple of those aren't replacements for people like Snow and Collins).

First, no matter what, you won't get EVERY vote on every issue, so you have to have a margin for attrition. (Remember, we lost ANWR by one vote when we had a five or six vote cushion).

Second, for every RINO still in there, you need one more to offset that person.

Third, every "new" person must be ideologically committed like nothing we've ever seen. They will be demonized and attacked and slandered and have to be ready, because what the class of 1994 went through will be NOTHING compared to what those who challenge the Messiah will endure.

I sent this to Doocy, who was impressed. No one else seems willing to talk about this, not even Rush. I think Rush may be hoping, actually, to goad the Dems into massive, massive overreach and in fact give us the kinds of majorities I refer to . . . but that's a long shot, and the downside is that they get their doomsday machine in place.

So far, Fox has me on as really a writer who has had a "hot" or relevant book, which they turned into a series. I'm not yet to the point where they view me as a regular political commentator.

Oh, and of course we fight. We fight even if there is 100% chance we lose, because like Gandalf says in LOTR, sometimes the virtue and honor is precisely in fighting the lost cause.

How did he gain 4 points on this basis after the White House ordering its operatives to “hit back twice as hard” against town hall protestors and the assaults that followed?

You skipped a few days. Yesterday he was at -5 and today back down to -8. He gained some due to the stock market rally, but I believe the thugs at the town halls drove him back down and he may keep plummeting, you have to remember Rasmussen does this over a 3 day average.

It will drop even more when the people who voted for him are able to bring themselves to admit that he wasn’t all that.

This will be hard for many of them and will have to happen gradually.

when you said, ‘dedicated quilt driven’ I pictured a bunch of old ladies.

It may be truer than you think. If he loses the old ladies, he’s in deep doo doo.

Rasmussen
Generic Congressional Ballot
Republicans 43%, Democrats 38%

Women who have consistently favored Democrats now prefer the GOP by a 40% to 39% margin. Men continue to favor Republicans over Democrats 47% to 36%.

Voters not affiliated with either party prefer Republicans two-to-one - 43% to 22%.

Along with Rush Limbaugh, I too hope Obama fails.

If his plans succeed, the results may be a lost decade
(or two) of industry/production and at least three
indentured generations to pay for his socialist pricetag.

1. Will Obamacare pay for sex change operations?

2. Will HIV patients be “end of life” counseled?

3. How long will it take after America goes broke... for
Haiti, India, Egypt, Africa (and other countries) to start
complaining and/or threatening when America can no longer
afford to pay “protection/influence” money?

Plus Bush lost a lot of independents and moderates when no weapons of mass destruction were found in Iraq. The left made mincemeat out of him there and made real inroads in knocking down his approval ratings.

There’s no shame in admitting you voted for a myth
propped up by the media and Soros/Buffet/Mafia dollars.

This Obama is not the Obama they supported.

I voted for Carter because he was “born again”. Knowing
that a man is measured by his actions, not his words...

I learned...

I admitted...

I matured...

I voted for Reagan!

here is what happened.
he called out his obots, they pumped the polls up. but having a short attention span because they are only interested in rhetoric and anti-bush hate the polls went up but didn’t sustain.

I knew that they would drop again.
by september, october his numbers will tank.
wait for his budget, then the markets reaction a month later.

After that he will be a lame duck.

That strongly disapproves keeps going up.

Looking at the trends over the period when he was getting 11-12% negative, the "strong disapproves" have stayed constant at around 39-40%, while his "strong approves" have fluctuated from 28 to 34 and back down to 31.

We need to work on making more "somewhat disapproves" into "strong disapproves".
