NEW YORK The Kenyan birth document released by California attorney Orly Taitz is probably not authentic, according to WND's investigative operatives in Africa, though officials in Nairobi do not rule out the possibility President Obama may indeed have been born in their country.
WND obtained several samples of Kenyan birth certificates in use around Aug. 4, 1961, the date of Obama's birth, showing differences from the Taitz document.
She filed a motion in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California requesting the purported evidence of Obama's birth both the alleged birth certificate and foreign records not yet obtained be preserved from destruction. She also asked for permission to legally request documents from Kenya and is seeking a subpoena for a deposition from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
"I filed the motion with the court asking for expedited discovery, which would allow me to start subpoenas and depositions even before Obama and the government responds," Taitz told WND then. "I am asking the judge to give me the power to subpoena the documents from the Kenyan embassy and to require a deposition from Hillary Clinton so they will be forced to authenticate [the birth certificate]."
The document she revealed:

Asked and answered, twice now (in my comments numbered 74 and 78). You’d better start swinging the bat, you are down 0-2.
You haven’t answered anything, what does NAU mean, no ass underware??
I couldn’t say whether Orly has the goods or not but tell me
is there not 1 Kenyan born in Mombasa 1961 with a similar birth certificate to prove against?
Let’s try to find some common ground, because you are amusing me—can we agree the NAU is what Corsi says it is?
Oh, lest I forget . . . can we agree that the NAU is what you said it is on Tuesday, October 09, 2007?
I’ve never used NAU and have no idea what it is and i’m sure not going to go try and find out what someone named Corsi thinks it means!
And now we have returned to my comment #64. Epic fail.
Sorry, everybody . . . it was just a jab at Corsi . . . I didn’t mean to hijack the thread, and I certainly didn’t know the drunk at the end of the bar would take offense.
I don’t drink ass hole!

Wiki: Kenyatta retained the role of prime minister after independence was declared on December 12, 1963. On June 1, 1964, Kenyatta became President when he successfully had Parliament amend the Constitution to make Kenya a republic with his office becoming executive President: the head of State, head of Government, and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.
I believe that you are correct (but one in the same?).

Perhaps so.
I just want DISCOVERY! ASAP!
Keep in mind that all those newspaper articles are obscure rural newspapers like the “Palladium nevada times”. They simply made an error on the name of the country.
How about taking a look at the official governmental website for the kenyan parliament, and look at the history detailed there. (Which confirms what is in the kenyan 1963 constitution, the CIA world factbook, etc...)
http://www.bunge.go.ke/parliament/history_Steps_2_Independence.php
“At midnight on December 11, 1963 , Kenya regained Independence from the United Kingdom.
Kenya remained a dominion within the British Commonwealth , with a Governor-General representing Her Majesty locally and a Government headed by a Prime Minister. “
NOT a republic, a constitutional monarchy.
http://www.bunge.go.ke/parliament/History_Post_Independence.php
“The composition to the Legislature and the framework of the Government at Independence remained in place until the first anniversary. [...] On December 12, 1964 , Kenya declared herself a Sovereign Republic within the Commonwealth. Mzee Kenyatta become the first President, heading a Cabinet of eighteen Ministers. December 12, has since been celebrated as Jamhuri Day.”
Right on and I see it coming too!

That is just one post on the topic. There are a number of earlier ones on the long thread.
I don’t know what the devil Corsi thinks he’s doing, but his certificate is from the wrong province, is dated the year of O’s birth rather than the year that the Kenya COLB was issued, gets the wrong year for the Republic, and is wrong about the Zanzibar connection.
This whole business stinks.
We still don’t know if Taitz’s COLB is genuine, but sure as hell Corsi’s screed does nothing to disprove it. I don’t know what on earth WND is think of.
Exactly. Even if we could find a piece of paper....wtf do we think the BEST chain of custody of the evidence we could hope for?
That the birth certificate had been held for 40 years in a high-security banana republic Kenyan crony's vault, with critical tagging and authentication....er...are you kidding me?
Even if there was one, it would be in some box in a closet somewhere....available for any number of 10 year old kids of office workers to make airplanes out of it and replaced with one some tourist gave them.
And such uncontrolled evidence wouldn't even be admissible in a parking ticket case, much less the SOLE EVIDENCE for removing a seated president.
All we're doing is helping Obama paint us all as goons.
Another bit of official history from an official kenyan government website.
Kenya got her Indepedence in 1963 and became a Republic in 1964. Kenya has had two former Presidents: His Excellency The Late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, C.G.H., M.P. (1964 - 1978) and His Excellency Mzee Daniel T. A. Moi, C.G.H., M.P. (1978 - 2002).
Remember we’re talking BANANA REPUBLIC here. Govt corruption is/was rampant. Do you expect everything was done to the letter in the Birth Registrars, especially after they claimed their independence from the Brits? They HATED the Brits. They easily could have had Republic of Kenya forms, knowing thats where they were headed.
Really, I can’t figure out his point.
The Taitz image is of a CERTIFICATION from 1964 of a birth that supposedly happened in 1961. But Corsi’s comparing apples to oranges.
His crummy images are supposedly FROM 1961. Can he prove they didn’t change forms in the intervening years?
His images are from a book of registered births. At least, that’s what I assume. Actually, looks like a census record to me; but I’ll take him at his word.
Why such crummy images, anyway? I can’t even read most of the information.
In any case, this is like comparing Obama’s online COLB to the Nordyke twins’ actual photocopied ORIGINAL birth certificates.
They look nothing alike, but they wouldn’t, since they’re different documents which, nevertheless, represent events that supposedly happened within a day of each other at the same hospital. No COLB is going to look exactly like an original, long-form birth certificate! DUH!
What the heck are the editors at WND thinking?
