Stanley Ann Dunham, Barack Obama's mother, was registered for college classes in Seattle only 15 days after reportedly delivering her first-born child in Honolulu, according to school records obtained by WND.
How Dunham was able to travel the 2,680 air miles from Honolulu to Seattle only a few days after the birth of her baby at a time when trans-Pacific travel likely was at a speed half of today's jets is not disclosed in the currently available public record concerning President Obama's birth.
Nor is there anything on the public record to explain how Dunham managed to find an apartment and relocate with her infant son so she could begin taking university classes within 15 days of the baby's birth.
There is also nothing on the public record to suggest Madelyn Dunham, Ann Dunham's mother, or any other family member preceded or accompanied Dunham to Seattle in August 1961 to help the new mother and infant son find appropriate living arrangements and complete the university's enrollment process prior to beginning classes.

Zbigniew Brzezinski?
Forget the damn plane. Think about it. First baby. New husband(supposedly) and she takes off right after he is born, all by herself and goes to Seattle when she could have easily gone to school in HI where her new husband was. This is OLD news, nothing new here. This has been discussed and FReepers found this info a long time ago. he was most likely born in Canada. maybe Kenya, He was NOT born in HI.
Well done!
15 days would not be a problem to get from Nairobi to Seattle.
No more information than appeared in the Honolulu Advertiser.
.. but apparently the hospital(s) refuse to do it.
Our comment to everyone who has been calling is that federal law does not permit us to provide any more details concerning information [about Obama's birth] without authorization from Mr. Obama, said one hospital.
The name, no more than a name, Barack Obama on a list from the hospital is all it would take for me to turn in my birther's badge but.. NO!
They won't do it -- even though the local newspaper's announcement is plastered all over the world; they won't even say yea or nay. Screw 'em.
Go figure. I have. The arrogant jerk was not born in a hospital in Hawaii.
I was not born in a hospital. Birth registration was almost three months later. My long form b.c. is stamped "DELAY."
Cause we all know that a plane ride from Hawaii to Washington takes more than 15 days - even in 1961.
____________
Of course it didn’t, UNLESS she was coming home from Kenya and flew to Seattle or she was coming back from a hospital in Canada. This article is stupid, the information on this is far better and far more accurate here on FR where it has been investigated, debated for months.
We went to Cooperstown when my youngest was 1 1/2 weeks old.
Family came to see the baby and the Hall of Fame. My husband had to work, so I drove. No biggie.
It might have been unusual in the 60’s but certainly do-able.
[now my baby is going off to college sniff, sniff)
I think the point of the story is that its extremely odd that a teenager with a newborn decides to go to school thousands of miles away from her new husband and family/support system.
Think about the logistics of attending classes, caring for a newborn, etc.
Weird, weird, weird.

BINGO!!!!!!!!!!!!! She didn’t leave HI. She didn’t have him there, end of story.
No sh*t. Is this their big story they had for Wed.? If so, they are on my list of stupid websites I will never visit again. No better than UPI. I’m not playing their games, let them look like fools.

You don’t believe what? That she was in Seattle at that time? Yes, she was.
But what fraction of the flights were DC8s or 707s? And did the jets fly to Seattle?
I’ve said it before, if you want you can see Zero’s birth, caretakers involved, even see the father you can. Google Netflix and order Rosemary’s Baby.
“My daughter was 18 months old and she just had her 50th birthday this year,” Toutongi recalled. “So, that would make the time around February and March 1962.”
____________
Maybe she made the statement last year. When did she make that statement?
You met Stanley Ann Dunham?
Don’t have the reference but IIRC the theory was her folks sent her to an unwed home in Canada to give birth and put baby up for adoption. After, Stanley would go to U of Wash as she had wanted to do. So goes the theory that Stanley changed her mind and shows up with a pink newborn and unknowledgable about diapering and such when her friend meets her.
But flights were most likely to LAX or SFO. Not Seatle. So the flight would have had connections and been very costly for a single Mom.
