And then one of our moderators spotted this:
http://www.scribd.com/doc/18018714/Fake-Obama-Kenya-birth-certificate
It has several clues, but also there's this question:
Who is E. F. Lavender?
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=earth+friendly+lavender&aq=f&oq=&aqi
Earth Friendly Lavender detergent?
Thank you.
No harm, no foul :)
I, of course, have NEVER, EVER, EVER jumped the gun, made assumptions or misinterpreted anything in my life ;)
Funny, I have seen SE around for a long time, you however only this one post..
What should I make of that?
Hey, the point is that people are named E.F. Lavender no matter where they live.

According to this there are something like 10,000 Lavenders that live in the US. How many live in Europe and could one EF Lavender have migrated to Kenya...certainly.
Now, on to the other issues...has anyone come up with anything on other BCs from this era? Apparently WND has viewed similar documents - I wonder about the numbering system?

“find that no such book or page number existed”
That’s the best way to discredit the document, PROVE that the location of record, and the names of those responsible for generating both documents, is false. If they refuse to do this it only high tens the suspicion.
With what is know of the document at this time it can’t be discredited as a fake but it is a long way from being accepted as authentic, it is kind of..... sitting in limbo.
Some people KNOW if the document is real and, if it is, probably know who had possession of it. Problem is, they may not know whose hands it is in now.
Let’s just say, if I were living in Grandma’s house I would be taking serious security precautions or would be taking a long secret vacation.
“if that book exists as a legit source of data”

So we’re in the same place that we’ve been with the HI BC - the authorities probably won’t release unless compelled by their own courts to release. What can one US attorney, and one US legal group do about that? Not sure if this will go anywhere.
Bammy’s the fool though..
Look tampa guy, I made the same error with SE Mom - she was quoting a poster to Jim’s article link! So your qualm is with the person posting on that ‘article’ site.
This is from Australia in 1893. While it does show that “E.F.Lavender” as a name is not as odd as idiots who know nothing except their own contemporary mindset think it is, it doesn’t help in this case.
Others have found E. Lavenders and E. F. Lavenders closer to 1961 and 1964 in Kenya, so you should be posting those, not this one. Posting this one undermines your credibility.
My take FWIW after reading most of the two main threads (I say most because I’m sure that there have been several posts just while I write this):
It could be real, it could be a very good fake.
The crop of “proofs” that it is fake are mostly laughable.
Some unknown person posted the image on a web page with “fake” in the URL? So what.
EF Lavendar is also a soap? So what. My last name - and it is a rare one - is also a street in Germany. The name has a very odd un-namelike German meaning. Does that mean I’m not a real person? Also, hasn’t an EF Lavendar who worked in the Kenyan govt been identified?
The numerology stuff: Some of this gives me pause, but then again numerology types can find hidden meaning in any number. For example, who wants to find the hidden meaning in these (random) numbers: 4239821. This attack seems to have about the same credibility as the coincidence that one Hebrew translation of “lightning from the sky” (one of Jesus’s descriptions of Satan) is Barak-U-Bama or somesuch.
The “Republic of Kenya” stuff is a red herring based on an innacurate knowledge of Kenyan history, most of it probably based on the relevant Wiki entry about Kenya (which was accurate - I think - as far as it went but didn’t have the whole story).
What about all the trolls, which some cite as showing there must be something to this? Meaningless. Any FR thread with this many hits and this much exposure will draw tons of trolls.
The reality: It’s now before a court with a fairly good by-the-book judge. That’s the ONLY authentication that matters.
would you please make your response to "heartland" more understandable?
pieceofthepuzzle,
We Patriots can thank Our Founding Fathers for these 12 Simple Steps because they gave us the RIGHT to form GRAND JURIES in the BILL OF RIGHTS. It was the way they designed for Patriots to keep control of the Government. Leo Donofrio calls the Grand Jury, the Fourth Branch of Government and it is the Branch that was designed for We the People.
12 Simple Steps to Clean up Corruption in Washington:
1) Advertise and Promote the Fact that you are forming a Grand Jury in Blogs, Local Newspapers and Community Organizations.
2) Form the Grand Jury and select a Foreman.
3) Select a Private Attorney General to make Presentments to Grand Jury, if local DA refuses to make presentments.
4) Select a convenient Meeting Place.
5) Communicate with all Citizens who have criminal information to present.
6) Schedule presentments by said Citizens.
7) Subpoena documents from Government Offices and Officials.
8) Schedule presentment of said Documents to Grand Jury by Grand Jury Attorney General.
9. Have Grand Jury Attorney General present said Documents to Grand Jury.
10) After investigation and deliberation is completed, vote and issue a True Bill (Indictment) or No True Bill.
11 Announce all Indictments to the Press.
12) Serve the Indictment on the Judiciary for the Issuance of Arrest Warrants.
Joshua Simon Oh, do you?
“...I said that from the word go my friend...”
McLame, is that you, my friend??? We know citizenship is none of your concern.; )
“Oduya”
Oh, do you?
Pastors... interesting, at least I was on the right track looking in that direction. Yea. and Lavendar is not an uncommon name in UK, and Kenya has close ties to UK.
Very good find!
Whodja vote for?
Surely the law enforcers in Kenya will prosecute an individual who’d forge a Kenyan birth certificate. Right?
Take a deep breath pal.
SE Mom was quoting what she saw on the website Jim linked to. Nothing else.
I didn’t find the Lavender pic, someone else did up thread. I just added the circle around Lavender. And did the math on his age.
