After being attacked by groups ranging from the Southern Christian Leadership Conference to Media Matters for relentlessly calling on Barack Obama to prove his eligibility for the office of the presidency, CNN's Lou Dobbs wasn't backing off on either his syndicated radio or his television program today.
Once again, he renewed his calls for Obama to produce his long-form birth certificate that would settle doubts about where he was born and offered that the president's actions could actually be "illegal."
Dobbs took on the special-interest groups demanding that CNN shut him up.
"The left is trying to silence their opponents and their competitors in the public marketplace of ideas," he said on his radio show. "One issue in which the ethnocentric issue groups have been trying to silence me is on the issue of illegal immigration. Many of those, if you will, have migrated to me here recently because I, even though I said I believe the president is a citizen of the United States, I don't understand why he shouldn't produce a birth certificate. My God, you're talking about the third rail of American journalism, baby! That's it. I'm not going to back off."

I don’t see how he can make us look foolish when he is the one who could have stopped this even before his election.
He may have even gotten a stronger “mandate” if he had.
He will have to explain WHY he has been so secretive about information that should be public knowledge and defensible in court. I cannot think of any reason why pulling the rabbit out of the hat after hiding it for so long is going to make anyone look foolish.
What if we all sent Lou Dobbs letters supporting him in his efforts along with $1.00 each and a request to see Barry’s original B.C.? If it starts here on Free Republic with someone making a form and all of us print out and mail it with the 1.00 to Lou, it just might be quite a few to stuff in his mailbox. We kill two birds with one stone. Let him know we support him and make our request public. I’m in.

That would be most difficult considering that email wasn't invented until a decade or so later - spread of email across a network beyond certain companies and universities wouldn't come until the late 1980s. The approximate year of his birth is not in question.
It is just unbelievable to me that these people don’t delve into and just look at the short form and say hey, looks good to me. Case closed.
No one bothers to understand there is such a thing as actually born in hawaii and born in hawaii by statute.

And besides sending that e-mail in 1961, Mamma Obama would have also had to smuggle her new born son into the U.S.

That may not be the case to prove he is a "native born" not "natural born." However - back on point.
Hawaii has been super lackadaisical on giving out birth certificates in the past.
All Obama Jr. needed was a witness to falsifying a statement:
Witness -- "I saw Obama being born in a pineapple field next to King Kamau Kamau avenue."
That's all it would take for Hawaii to issue a birth certificate.
Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck were the only two journalists on CNN I would watch. I’ve been watching Lou for years, always known he does not belong on that Commie Network, same with Glenn. Was SO happy when Glenn left CNN and came to Fox News. I hope Lou does the same thing. He’s a good man, he doesn’t need to be on a network like that.

Understood. I realize that the natural-born citizen requirement actually goes beyond his actual location of birth, and I fully support those arguments as well.
However, at this time, we do not even know if the man he claims is his father is the man listed on the LBC.
This is why I think that a viewing of that data is needed before those finer arguments can be determined.
We have NO IDEA who this man is, who his parents were, where they came from, or where he came from.
Barack Obama is no-one.
Irrespective of his chosen stories to cover, I think want to support just his right to express his views - whatever they be.
Good for Dobbs. I don’t understand the problem here. Obama put up or shut up. I think the guy is a citizen, I just want to know why he has so many different apparently doctored in some cases versions of his supposed birth cert. That is a reasonable question. Like the other reasonable questions about why to this day he refuses to release his education records and his medical records. Is he just hiding some embarrassing diatribes of a budding liberal and a bout or two of the clap or is there a bigger reason for his cloak and dagger approach to his background and his associated documents?
All are valid questions.

Yes, on my shift with Dick Cheney, Chief Justice Roberts, Justices Scalia, Thomas and Alitio and every Republican member of the House of Representatives, all of which have gone on the record stating the Obama is a Natural Born Citizen.
When did those supreme justices and Cheney explicitly say Obama is a natural born citizen?

Note that Alinsky’s work also influenced the creation of the “Cloward-Piven Strategy,” named after Columbia University professors Richard Andrew Cloward and Frances Fox Piven. Their strategy involves taking action to force deliberate failure in society, to foster change toward socialism, by overloading the bureaucracy with impossible demands, lawsuits, holding officials to the extreme letter of the law, etc. The Cloward-Piven method is to push society into an economic collapse, thus forcing a fear and resentment of capitalism, making it easier to usher in socialism.
