Detroit’s death spiral began with Coleman Young’s failed administration.
From 1974 until he left in 1994 Detroit became the quintessential liberal Democrat city. It offered nothing but high crime and low prospects and accelerated White middle class flight.
When the under skilled and overmatched Kwame Kilpatrick was carted off to prison the Motor City virtually ceased to exist. Now after 50 years of inept Democrat political hack administrations Detroit is among the worst places in live in America.
For the past three years FBI statistics have shown Detroit is the murder capital of the nation. Per capita it is more dangerous than Baghdad. Even the outgoing fired Police Chief went home to find his house ransacked by burglars. There are neighborhoods in the city so desolate “the police haven’t patrolled [them] in years.”
The situation in the city they call “Motown” is such that a huge section has been described as “30 square blocks of urban prairie.”
Detroit’s poor condition and decimation is hard to imagine.
These facts paint the picture of what 50 years of Democrats has brought
There are over 16, 000 foreclosed homes in the city, many of which have been taken over by squatters much as could be expected in the old West’s ghost towns.
In January Detroit’s unemployment hit 22.2%!
Even before the full destructive force of Barack Obama’s Marxist policies have been felt, a Detroit real estate agent reported selling a house for a single dollar. He had at least four more $1.00 homes, 1228 houses for sale at under $10,000 and 209 of them under $1,000!
The median selling price of a house in Detroit has tumbled from $66,000 to $5,800 since 2002.
Fifty years of swallowing Democrat lies has gotten Detroiters ever increasing misery. Now they must take responsibility for their votes.

The properties behind the fence once were part of a municipal neighborhood. The real indication of urban blight is when there is no real estate, thus no property taxes.
Of course they won’t. They see going to work as selling out and frankly I don’t blame whites for leaving one bit. Why someone should stay in a hostile environment, soley to be the focus of everyone’s resentment, is beyond me.
If whites start leaving the country en masse, along with other productive minorities, I wonder if Zero will try to stop them and intern them to make them produce something.

I grew up in North Philly and saw what was happening to it - watched my neighborhood, that I loved, get destroyed; left a long time ago, moved far away, and would never consider moving back. Same thing happens to all cities where liberal Dems/RINOs and their dependent, ignorant voters take over - turns into pure, third-world crapholes.
Call it what it is. Cities don’t just “fall apart” - the lazy-ass ignorant PEOPLE that live there let them fall apart.
We’re not a cohesive society anymore. We’ve been deliberately separated into tribes and pitted against one another for resources, with the “authorities” continuously shifting to one side or the other as the situation warrants.
It sucks, but it’s reality. The REAL enemy are the ones that are dancing on the grave and laughing at the madness they’ve caused.
Find and remove them, and we can win this war that started in 1848 with Marx/Engels and their ideological descendents and continues to this day...

Thanks, I suppose. I left Detroit for good in 1970. The home in which I spent my first fifteen years is gone. The Catholic school I attended is a burned out brick shell.
More people need to know the story of Detroit. We tend to think that civilization will always move forward. Detroit is late proof that civilization can shift gears and move backward.

Coleman Young was an utter racist. He chased the white folks out of the city. I am a former Detroiter. My grandmother was mugged on the street in Grosse Pointe Park and we had to move her out of the house my grandfather built for her.
There is probably $20k in back taxes on that house.
