The Obama administration worked in recent days to prevent President Manuel Zelaya's ouster, said a senior U.S. official. The State Department, in particular, communicated to Honduran officials on the ground that President Barack Obama wouldn't support any nondemocratic transfer of power in the Central American country.

ANd a guy on FOX says the only thing the American people are paying attention to is Michael Jackson.
OMG.... so the CHANGE is that America now props up Socialist and Communist dictators.
We can no longer say that America is a Beacon for those seeking Freedom and Democracy... because it isn’t true any more.
I am now ashamed to be an American.
This propaganda will be used to silence all voices of dissent.

A proper coup is about as democratic as you can get.
How can WE make clear to the Hondurans that the American people support them?

My thanks to Rome2000 and cripplecreek for finding and posting these photos on this thread.
Obama’s pretty transparent now, isn’t he?
Thanks, I just read that, as a previous poster provided the same link. I had no idea what was going on down there. But rewriting constitutions seems to be the fad in Latin America. Menem tried to do it when I lived in Argentina 20 years ago. Chavez got away with it. Now it’s endemic. Everybody wants to do it.
One would be dictator (obama) trying to bolster support for a proven dictator. With the help of the democrats and traitorous republicans, he will destroy the United States. God Help Us.
Now we know HOW much damage a Manchurian candidate can do to the US with the help of TOTUS.
The Russian ambassador to the US cried to Obama telling him to restore the Marxist in Honduras.
Post of the day!
I forgot that Ahmadinutjob supports the Leftist president in Honduras...
This is reminding me more and more of the Jimmy Carter era during the 1970’s, when we were endorsing Soviet/Cuban backed take overs of Nicaragua and other states
OMG
Zero never met a dictator he didn’t like.
Voters, what have you done to this once great country?
I hope some American Generals are paying attention.
It’s a sad day to see Cuba, Venezuela, and the United States forming a solid leftist camp in this hemisphere.
