His arrest and expulsion from the country was ordered by the Honduran Supreme Court? There was a trial or judicial proceeding? This proceeding followed specific constitutional provisions? If your facts are right, then my conclusion is obviously wrong.

In Honduras, Presidents are constitutionally limited to one term. The Supreme Court identified Zelaya's attempt to run for re-election, while attempting to change the constitution via referendum, as a circumvention of the Constitution (which has provisions for amendment).

Whereupon, the Congress impeached the President, removing him from office and naming the next in the line of succession (who happened to be the leader of the assembly) as President.

Then, the Congress, with the assent of the Supreme Court, ordered the military to arrest and expel Zelaya.

The whole act was performed with precise accordance to the Honduran constitution. It was not a coup.

Indeed, when Zelaya first made his plan known, he instructed the military to print the ballots (in Honduras, the military is charged with conducting elections, as well as enforcing the constitution). Recognizing it as an assault on the constitution, the military refused to produce the ballots -- and Zelaya fired the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (which is what brought about the challenge to the Supreme Court).

Zelaya then ordered his ballots from...Venezuela.

There can be no doubt as to what has happened here. The Honduran government has acted with total accordance with their constitution. Their deposed president was attempting to subvert the constitution and become a dictator.

I assure you that Obama, Hillary, and all their media outlets have been telling ourright lies to overthrow one of the last few nations in the hemisphere that does not have a communist dictator for life (we already have ours).

You don't have to take my word for anything. Go to twitter.com at the following link and start talking to the people in Honduras and other places. Keep your language translator handy, and follow some of the links to the articles and documents discussing the topic without the control of our Ministry of Truth.

This country is rapidly becoming a banana republic.

Where are the Republicans? There are two parties in this country, the party of depostism and the party of cowardice. Which one do you think best describes the Republican Party?

By leaving him alive, and the government continuing under civil control, they reserved the moral high ground for themselves. Unfortunately, our government wouldn’t recognize the moral high ground if it rose up in front of them. Ditto apparently the OAS.

He had fired the head of the military, and the defense secretary quit in protest. Acting under orders from the Supreme Court, the military arrested him and flew him to Costa Rica in a military plane, where he was given asylum. That part of this whole story is not in question.
