I read some of the comments at that link. There are a few that actually think the bill should be read. Others think it's a waste of Obama's precious time to have the 'racists and birthers' get a chance to read it before voting on it. This crap & anti-trade bill may actually be worse than than what's coming up on immigration reform.

I don’t know if any of you caught all the provisions that affect resale of existing homes, appraisers of homes, etc. This bill would require our homes meet certain ‘green’ standards before we could sell it. Appraisers would have to be retrained, and relicensed under this bill. We would have to spend literally thousands of dollars to ‘green’ our homes before we could sell them.

Boehner is giving all the talk show, especially the SUNDAY talk show pundits, questions to ask.

He’s pointing out a lot of specifics. Specifics for which the questionEE will not have any sort of satisfactory answer for.

If Boehner had just reiterated a bunch of talking points, however true and relevant, the Dems would be busy preparing their rebuttal. But some of the very specific things Boehner is delineating are going to be very difficult to defend.

It’s one damn good idea. All these congress critters have staffs to do this stuff. They fell down on the job on the so-called stimulus bill.

If the pubs want to bring their message to the people, THIS is what they have to do.
