the man’s wife cracks and throws him out and he RUNS to his mistress.......I have never, ever broken my marriage vows. it can be done. I have little sympathy for sanford. he made his bed, he pays the piper. he will not go to a higher office.......he chose adultery instead. I pray his wife and boys get what they deserve.

Sounds like somebody was getting ready to spill the beans.

Yes, I wonder what negotiations actually took place in Argentina. The trip might not have been about sex.

Too bad. Obama was just about to appoint him Ambassador to Peru. Now Obie will save the appointment for Pawlenty.

The ba$tard needs to resign, PERIOD! Selfish SOB just needs to go away. What is it with politicians who can’t be faithful to their spouses? Be it the President of the United States to small town city council members (my wife), they think they can do anything they damn well please. Throw them ALL out!

You mean like the State Police that are supposed to protect the Governor and they couldn’t find him?

You should read what he had to say — he LIED to his office telling them he was going hiking when he was flying to Argentina. Then he told the media when he landed in Atlanta he was on a cruise but he flew to Argentina and flew back.

Guess all of that is the fault of others according to some on here.

Cast the first stone.......Republicans have to stand on issues and stop with the righteous attitude...we will never win. Who is perfect? Who is without sin? If we start throwing out everyone who has had a discretion....who are we left with?

It really is sad that Gov. Sanford thought less of his four sons. Shame on him!!!

In 1974, an AR Democrat named Mills got involved with an Argentinian “Firecracker” too, and he was reelected, but he then retired for the 1976 election, which brought Jim Guy Tucker to Congress. AR couldn’t win for losing but never knew their predicament, still don’t.

It’s hard to see how any of the 2012 “potential” candidates ever gets nominated, much less elected. Maybe the people want to try McPain again!

No...he was a pretty solid conservative. The first governor to turn down stimulus money. That’s what makes this all the more sad and disappointing to me.

If the guy can turn down the stimulus money, he wasn't able to turn down the Argentine stimulus. It is sad, but the man showed very bad judgement. (And yes, I know I am spelling judgement the old-fashioned way. I am a real conservative.)

And after all the hopla about not wanting to take stimulus money, I thought he was going to be a standard bearer for the GOP. Now, he's just another lying weasel who couldn't keep his pants on.

The MSM will have a field day with this, and it will just be more fuel for the fire to burn the GOP.

“the GOP MUST stand in opposition to Sanford and demand he resign.”
+++++++++++

Mebbe he’ll switch parties...?/sarc

What is it these days - Ensign and Sanford...who’s left that stands for antything? I say we throw all the bums out - that probably means another good chunk of Rs too (of course!) but maybe not exactly who we thought (not all RINOs) but also just hypocrites and opportunists in general.

What makes me sick is that Dems can ‘get away’ with bizarre unethical behavior but R’s can’t!

“The MSM will have a field day with this, and it will just be more fuel for the fire to burn the GOP. “
++++++++++++

The MSM, the lying scoundrels, the traitors, have no room to judge anyone’s character. We should remember that as the first point of context here.

I’m sure this Argentinian woman, as a wise Latina with her richness of experiences, would bring Sanford to a better sexual conclusion than his white wife who hasn’t lived that life...

Well... better late than never.

At least the good people of S.C. now know the IDIOT they have for a governor.

This guy better be GONE!... an idiot like this should not be in such an important position.

Sanford’s just given the MSM a major gift: something to displace Iran and North Korea on the front pages and nighttime broadcasts. Just in time, too, as I really think that more Americans were beginning to realize what a stammering, non-thinking fool occupies their executive.
