" I can’t figure out is why, when given the opportunity, Palin nor John Ziegler...never turned this question on to their interviewers."

Excellent point. I don't understand why they didn't either.

How could someone like Scarborough, so actively suspicious if not involved in his intern's death, have a big media job?

From your link:

1) If Lori's death was just a simple accident, then why did Rep. Scarborough and his spokesman Miguel Serrano feel the need to go to two different local TV stations within three hours of her body's being found and invent a nonexistent history of chronic medical conditions for her -- in other words, why did they feel the need to lie about Lori's health?

2) Would you trust without question the word of a Medical Examiner who lost his ME license in two separate states (Missouri and Florida) because he LIED about his autopsy work (for instance, saying he had autopsied some brains when he hadn't)?

3) Why should whoever wrote Ms. Klausutis's obituary feel it was appropriate to mention nearly everything about her life -- EXCEPT where she'd been working since 1999?

“I don’t think Sarah gives a rat’s ass about what Littleman thinks or says. The MSM would like to keep this going for their own selfish reasons ... that is to say, ... ‘ratings’.”

I disagree with you on this. She may not care what Letterman says about her and go with the “consider the source” defense. But when it comes to her kids, if she does not defend them, she is the lesser person for it. A parent who lets their children take these kind of shots because they happen to be a politician or a celebrity will end up looking like a coward and a poor parent to America. I don’t think Sarah Palin is either. I think Letterman has gone too far and it is time he is stopped. If Governor Palin wants to lead this charge, I say more power to her and she has my support. If the liberals and the main stream media want to take her to task for this, now would be a good time to ask THEM how THEY would handle the trashing of their children. I would be very interested in that answer!

Q. How is Sarah Palin different from 90% of all elected Republicans?

A. She fights back.

Focus on the weakest of your opponents and destroy them first. Letterman is very vulnerable on a number of fronts. A well-organized boycott could be used effectively as a demonstration of power. The lib-nazi propaganda machine can be brought to heel if we stop feeding it with our money.

“Q. How is Sarah Palin different from 90% of all elected Republicans?

You’re Right! Doesn’t it amaze you that the Republican Party doesn’t seem to get this? McCain never answered back to 80% of Obama’s false accusations in a firm enough way that he was believable and it cost him the election. At any time he could have questioned him on the Birth Certificate issue, or why his college records were sealed, or his association with Chicago thugs. This is why the Republicans lost....they had no backbone.

Palin seems to have one and that is why she is liked. She needs to get a grip on the media though. Just tell them to put a lid on it if they want to hear the answers to the questions they ask her. When they start talking over her as she is answering, stop the interview and ask them if she is going to be allowed to answer without interruption, if not...walk out, then put forth a public statement that she will no longer give interviews set up as hatchet jobs in the future.

If newsmen want to debate, call it a debate so that we all understand that the interviewer is out to make his or her point and not seeking the point of view of the person he or she is interviewing.

She would probably only have to do this once.

Your right! That’s why I’ve spent the better part of this weekend writing to the Letterman sponsors. I told them that Letterman was their employee and I didn’t appreciate his sordid humor directed at 14 year old girls. I received one reply that stated that just because they sponsored him did not mean that they approved of his humor.

That’s kind of like having an associate say, spot me $10, I’m out of gas. And then he uses that gas to go rob a bank. You didn’t know he was going to rob a bank, so you’re not responsible for his actions. But if every night he says, spot me $10, which you do, and every night he robs a different bank and you know about, then yes, you are responsible.

No, unlike Scarbutt Repubs, she’s fighting back. Course in DC that is frowned upon by the Brie and Chablis crowd.

you are right, Letterman deliberately picked the fight by bringing in the 14 year old Willow in an obscene way - Sarah has responded to the attack. The press would like to encourage the battle.

Palin warned everyone who she was when she got into the race, remember?

A barracuda?

A hockey mom?

A pit bull with lipstick?

If you ask me, she’s been rather restrained about a national celebrity defaming her daughter. I think she has grounds to sue Letterman, CBS, WorldWide Pants and Viacom on behalf of her 14-year-old daughter who is NOT a public figure and has had her reputation trashed on national television through no fault of her own.

I would pay to see Sarah Palin arm wrestle David Letterman on TV.

I would pay to see Todd Palin replace that 1/2-inch gap in Letterman's teeth with about a 20-inch gap.

If CBS doesn’t fire Letterman, she should sue them and I can’t think of an easier case to win. When Letterman read his “so-called apology” on the air the other night, he said, “I’m not like that, look at my record”.

What an idiot!! He’s been defaming Bristol Palin ever since Sarah Palin entered the national political arena! Yes, I think we should look at his record.

Don't know. It's all very suspicious if you ask me. Joe was a 'running bubby' of Gary Condit. Another filthy POS!!
