Latest Video:Little Rock - One person is in custody, and two others have been transported to a local hospital in serious condition following a double-shooting in west Little Rock Monday morning.
Authorities say the incident occurred around 10:00 a.m. at the U.S. Army Navy Career Center inside the Ashley Square Shopping Center at 9112 North Rodney Parham Road. According to Lt. Terry Hastings with the Little Rock Police Department, two recruiting officers standing outside the office were hit when the unidentified suspect drove up in a black SUV and began shooting.
The suspect led police on a brief pursuit towards downtown Little Rock before being taken into custody in the area of the Interstate 30/630 interchange.
According to the Little Rock Fire Department, a bomb squad is currently on the scene, checking out a suspicious package inside the suspect's vehicle.
While it's clearly possible (maybe even likely) that it was some Maoist scumbag who did it there are other possible explanations as well.

Cops in my area thought a water meter was a bomb, so any suspect device they found here is at best “suspect” and not a bomb per se. The bomb squad is always called in to check these type of things, but I see a lot of conclusion jumping going on there as well when it comes to home-grown terrorism.
This is definitely left wing ideology at work here... The perp may claim whatever he wants, but the ideology that drove this act is far from conservative or right wing!

I would be surprised if this had anything to do with Tiller. Going on nothing but my imagination (not saying much) it is more likely the perp had a beef with the Army.
My early speculation as to a prison conversion to “islam” is shaping up to be other than just a wild assumption...

They weren’t even regular recruiters, just guys from the local area participating in a “Home Town Recruiter” program. Guys with other assignments, talking to potential recruits as “additional duty” (and maybe a little chance to see family)

Not sure “prison” had anything to do with it, but time will tell. Waiting on the release of the perps name. Outta tell us a bit more.

I guarantee that the Obama admin will refuse to mention that connection.
