“...they wouldn’t know if he was president of the United States,”
Charlie, don’t ya think they should since they voted for him?
the truth is that black on black crime far exceeds any shootings by the police. BO would get his black rear end kicked by some gangstas in Harlem. He better be thankful that some honky cop is protecting him.
Can you believe Rangel? I get beyond shocked sometimes at what some people say. The cops in New York would not know that he was president? They would think he’s just another random black man in the streets? And that they shoot first and ask questions later?????
Let’s do the reversal rule here. What would the reaction be if a white Republican political leader said that Obama needs to watch his back in the Repbulican’s hometown because the cops there might confuse the president with random black men on the street, and that the cops in the Republican’s hometown shoot black men first and ask questions later? Can you imagine the uproar that would follow such comments? Yet Rangel can say this and it’s news for five minutes and then it goes away. Amazing. I never know what the criteria are for how to judge situations.
If a white politician had said this about his neighborhood, the Secret Service would have him locked down for the duration of the “administration.”
Lincoln went to the theatre.
Too bad there aren’t thousands of protesters holding (cardboard) shovels demanding to know where all the promised “shovel ready jobs” are.
Funny, If I posted that the bama should watch his back” anywhere, I’d be visited by the Secret Service.
Anyone know if they have visited Charlie yet?
B O said he wanted to get other nations to like us again. Looks more like they’re gonna’ be laughing at us. Our federal government is looking more and more like a laughingstock.
How much did this trip cost the taxpayer?
Would it have been cheaper to bring the play to the White House with audience?
I'm not a big fan of LEOs in general, but I fail to see anything to "guffaw" about.
With that tax-cheating Rangel still in office we all need to watch our backs.
Gee, zero didn’t like it so much when a “typical white person”, his grandmother, essentially said the same thing.
Is Clinton working in his office tonight?
What is Wrangle saying about Harlem? Where is the “Thats Racist!!!” image loop when you need it?
BS We know how much security/$$$$$ surround that chicken*%$#. They would be lucky to get a peek at him. But, hey he can afford it. The dumbazzez gave him a blank check to spend til he drops.
How many dead African Americans would there be if the police weren’t there?
Harlem couldn’t be any more unsafe than the streets of Chicago where more peoople are murdered each day than in Iraq.
Rangel never passes up an opportunity to slam whitey.

Photo of Charlie Rangel at the podium of a March 19th, 2005 Workers World Party/Troops Out Now rally in Harlem, New York. The occasion marked the 2nd anniversary of the start of the Iraq war. The photo comes from the ("We are proud to have known Kim Il Sung as a great leader and a comrade in the international communist movement. ...") Workers World Party website.
Also appearing at this "peace" rally with the demonRat Charlie Rangel, now chairman of The House Ways and Means Committee, were Saddam Hussein lawyer, Ramsey Clark and convicted terrorist enabler/attorney, Lynne Stewart. Clark, with Workers World Party, started up that other 'peace' group, A.N.S.W.E.R. Clark also heads the International Action Center and was actually once Attorney General of the United States under democrat LBJ. -etl
