There's nothing like a tragic police shooting to bring a guffaw out of Rep. Charlie Rangel.
The veteran Harlem pol quipped that even President Obama, in town here for a Broadway show, should watch his back.

B O said he wanted to get other nations to like us again. Looks more like they’re gonna’ be laughing at us. Our federal government is looking more and more like a laughingstock.

How much did this trip cost the taxpayer?
Would it have been cheaper to bring the play to the White House with audience?

There's nothing like a tragic police shooting to bring a guffaw out of Rep. Charlie Rangel. I'm not a big fan of LEOs in general, but I fail to see anything to "guffaw" about.

Gee, zero didn’t like it so much when a “typical white person”, his grandmother, essentially said the same thing.

I was thinking the same thing. I don’t suppose Obambi had Air Force One buzz the Statue of Liberty do you? Does this guy do anything other than goof off on the taxpayer dime and make nonsensical speeches?

Gee, zero didnt like it so much when a typical white person, his grandmother, essentially said the same thing. Um, you don't get it. Rangel isn't talking about black on black crime or being afraid of black men on the street. Precisely the opposite. He's talking about an incident that just happened in Harlem where a black off-duty NYPD officer was shot by another NYPD officer (white). Rangel is making the inference that no black man, even the President, is safe from the cops on the streets of Harlem.

What is Wrangle saying about Harlem? Where is the Thats Racist!!! image loop when you need it? Again, read the article. I realize the rest of the country may not know about this story but it's the top story right now in NY. Rangel is not making a remark about Harlem being dangerous because it's full of black people. He's making the inference that even the Pres. is not safe from white police officers. He's making a remark about the NYPD, not about Harlem.
