Notre Dame board chairman: Father Jenkins has trustees’ ‘full support’

Richard Notebaert, the chairman of the University of Notre Dame’s board of trustees, said that university president Father John Jenkins, CSC, has the “full support” of the board. “He respects people who differ, but he’s resolute in his decision because he did it based on conscience and what he really believes in,” says Notebaert, the retired CEO of Qwest Communications and Ameritech.
A major Republican donor, Notebaert in June 2008 gave $67,800 to McCain Victory 2008 and $28,500 to the Republican National Committee, according to Federal Election Commission records.
Of course jenkins is doing an extraordinary job, he has crossed over to the darkside, a side obama is very familiar with ........

36 years ago, Catholics acted on their faith and convictions and started educating, alerting and protesting abortion.....they got it, they understood...
This is a slap in the face to all those, throughout the years, who prayed for an end to abortion.
