Never thought I'd be praying for Justice Kennedy's health and wellbeing but he's our only swing vote for the next 4 years.

“2nd plan, wait until Jon Stewart goes on vacation...all the liberals I know get their “news” from Stewart, so if he’s out they won’t have anyone to tell them what to think.”
No kidding! I’ll handle the old folks, you handle the college crowd. Together, we’ll git ‘er done! :)

so we’ll replace a liberal with a liberal.
look for hussein’s party to gain seats in the Senate in 2010, then the socialists will authorize three or four more seats to go to SCOTUS. then we’ll be communists for the next 200 years.

Cant do much worse than Sununus folly. Back then Su touted to Pres Bush Sr. that Souter was a 'stealth candidate'. What a weasel Ruthie boy turned out to be!

Stay vigilant. The price of freedom is eternal vigilance and the willingness to fight back.
In my estimation, we patriotic Americans have been vigilant long enough to see that it's time to fight back.

We where so close! GW Bush gave us 2 great judges in Alito and Roberts, we where only 1 judge away from over turning many evils. How do people like Rick Warren sleep at night? Warren did his best to lead people astray!
Anybody that voted for Obama has blood on their hands!
This is so sad!!!

Not Spector. He’s going to nominate Hillary Clinton for the Court. That takes her out of politics for the rest of her life.

For Obama to replace Souter is merely “maintenance”. Souter joined the dissent in the Heller vs DC case. Obama is merely replacing one dim bulb with an fresh one.

anyone know the odds of whether or not he will be another tax cheat?
60/40! My guess is that Obama will follow his current playbook: Appoint people based on identity politics, not based on their qualifications (or lack thereof; hi Janet Napolitano). He will make his choice based upon what he finds the Court to be lacking from the liberal list of "protected classes".
Look for the first hispanic, openly gay, crossdressing atheist Supreme Court nominee, coming to a confirmation hearing near you soon. I'm only half-joking. Expect the nominee to have at least one of the above characteristics.

This is big, yes, but it’s still a liberal replacing a liberal.
To: markomalley
Because I’ve known what his agenda is since last summer, nothing surprises me anymore.
To: La Enchiladita
The article says he misses his native New Hampshire. Very flimsy. We don't miss him!
