And, from my reading of some of the better sites on the web about our precarious financial situation, that commentator is dead on right.

Any of my fellow freepers keep up with MarketTicker?

SEOUL NOW SAYING IT WAS A SATELLITE but saying that it is NOT confirmed if it was successful or not.

Now the reporter from Washington DC is on live. He is stating the quisling State Department statement....the "ooooooh, like I'm scared" declaration".

I am in shock..this launch will signal all terrorist countries around the world. It will embolden terrorists. The fact that the missile went over Japan is unbelievably scary. And there is no word from The Messiah? Dear God, help us.

“One commentator saying “AMERICA DOES NOT HAVE THE MONEY ANYOMORE TO GET INTO THIS”

How sad. They are right. Obama and the marxists are trying their best to bankrupt our country in order to solidify their own power. Obama giving our nukes away...as all of our enemies are building theirs without hinderance.

They are probably both sound asleep with a “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door...after a long night of dinner and vino and poor Barry’s cold.

“Americans are not being told the truth, nor are they being informed and given detailed information. It is almost like we live in the old Soviet Union with controlled radio/TV. OR, on the other hand, does the average Joe in the US care, or are they watching “Dancing with the Stars” and dont want to be interrupted, so media just caters to what they want? It is kind of a chicken and egg argument I guess.”

Back in the late 70’s They taught us in school about the Iron curtain and Russian propaganda. I Tuned into radio Pravda on Shortwave a few times and listened to there news. The propaganda was so blatantly obvious and overwhelming. For the last several years I have watched as the news here became even more of a propaganda show than the Radio Pravda that I listened to so many years ago as a child. Sad, but true.

Japan will re-arm.

That is their only solution. I can sense this coming by the tone of the TV and the people.

As they just more or less said on live Japanese TV here a few minutes ago, a) Obama is unreliable; and b) America is financially broke.

“North Korea Lauches Rocket; Iran and Others May Be Real Beneficiaries - Video 4/4/09”

SNPPET: “The report below by CNN’s Jim Clancy makes it clear why this really matters. It is not just the threat of North Korea using such a rocket to deliver a nuclear payload, but the fact that they sell arms to Iran, Pakistan and whoever will pay them the cash:”

What’s next? Iran launching a missile over Israel? Israel wouldn’t let it get to the launch pad.

You and me both. I feel like my parents must have felt with the Cuban Missile Crisis and us living in the southeast.

..hate to say it, but this is GREAT news for missile defense..the need will be clarified

It was always a clear and present danger to those of us with functioning brains. Now we have a nuclear armed totalitarian mad man with ballistic missile capabilities.

Didn’t we sign some treaty or something giving Japan protection? Wasn’t that an agreement from WW2?

razorback-bert asked about the url for the FReeper Wall so I went to get it. I got so distracted reading the familiar names several other FREepers had already posted the link.

One name I didn't see was RJayneJ. She was the gal who ran the "Essay or Thread of the Week" and several other features.

I'm sure she's passed, I wonder why her name is missing. Maybe tomorrow I'll ask around.
