First I knew of the memorial, I just went to it and saw friends I didn’t even know were gone. So sad.
“Rte66” among them.

What is he saying?
I thought they were just launching a “satellite” for their “space program.”

No reports of explosions or debris or sudden loss of communications with any US city. Haha, a "dirty bomb" would certainly not result in a loss of communication with a city. It would take a large nuke to do that.

Believe this, World War III is NOT going to start over this missile launch.
Nope. Not this launch, but I wouldn't rule out NK as the flash point.
Only if Beijing decides it is 'time' for such a conflict. They hold the leash around Comrade Chia Pet's head, and unless the ChiComs believe there is more to be gained by military confrontation with the U.S. than there is to continue the economic warfare it is currently engaged in, we will see lots of rhetoric, lots of chest-thumping, but we're not going to see missiles flying from one continent to another. The United States is worth more to Beijing intact, vaporizing major cities and military-industrial targets only reduces the value of their new acquisitions.

I was hoping that when Gates said that we were not prepared to respond militarily, it was to throw the NKers off guard.
That missile should not have been allowed to leave the gantry, like you said earlier.
There should be a crater there now.
Israel now knows for certain it cannot count on Obama or Gates or Clinton.
Bibi will be starting his countdown soon for the strike on Iran.

You wouldn’t be suggesting that modern progressivism makes more sense in textbooks than under flying rockets, are you?

Thank you. That’s good to hear. At least the initial threat is over. Now to see what people are going to DO about it... I think a “strong letter” is kind of getting old...

Americans are not being told the truth, nor are they being informed and given detailed information. It is almost like we live in the old Soviet Union with controlled radio/TV. OR, on the other hand, does the average Joe in the US care, or are they watching "Dancing with the Stars" and dont want to be interrupted, so media just caters to what they want? It is kind of a chicken and egg argument I guess.
Here in Japan 95% of the people GREATLY want any and all information, so you have wall to wall non stop in detail coverage on all TV chanels, including all kinds of charts, computer graphics, live text with updates streaming on the bottom of the screen, and top notice military/rocket experts giving real time assessments. Kind of like what we used to do 40 years ago in the US with Apollo moon shots with most Americans riveted to the TV watching in great detail.
