Told my disabled vet liberal father this the other day when someone sent an email through on FR. Printed the part in the budget out about and my dad was freaking out.
Then he read in Newsweek that they are going to INCREASE veteran benefits, so he doubted the BUDGET that was the dang BUDGET???
I will now print this for him. Obama is his man. Let’s see for how long.
I supported Carter when he ran the first time. That was the last time................

Liberal thinking on who should get Free Healthcare:

My stomach is churning just thinking about this. They are just so despicable I can’t think about it!
The RAT’s goal is to bankrupt private insurance so that government operated socialized medicine will be the only option left.
My son is active duty US Coast Guard. He showed me an email that circulated throughout his command last week stating that there are plans in the works for Retired and ACTIVE military to begin paying a percentage of their health care costs.
It sounds like a trial balloon. If the screaming is loud enough, they’ll back down.
We need to organize all the military and retired military, VFW groups and web sites to join a suit to go to SCOTUS demanding the BC. We need a experienced attorney instead of Orly.
Every web site needs to have us posting in forums about Hussein’s BC.
I am going to a meeting in Tulsa, OK on the 21st.....concerning Oklahoma's sovereignty.
I've written letters, I've called my reps...I've emailed friends and family...
I don't know what else to do at this point....
I would like to see a national movement....to tell the Feds to stick it!!! I would like to see a national tax revolt....
But I am seeing nothing at this point.....

There’s a tipping point out there. If Barry keeps pushing....it will come. This is outrageous, beyond belief outrageous. That this idea is even broached by the dims as a possibility shows ME just how powerful they THINK they are. They are counting on us sputtering and FURIOUS, but then doing nothing in response.
There IS a tipping point. They will eventually drop that deciding feather on that camel’s back. What will it be, I wonder? Even the worst of them know that going after our vets would be a bad, bad move. Their arrogance and contempt for us all is quite overwhelming though. They show it over and over again. They will go too far.
One thing I do know is that a lot more people will have to be hurting a lot more than they are now. The vast majority are NOT news junkies, voraciously ‘reading all about it’, like most FReepers. They haven’t been awakened yet to the HORROR that Obama is about to unleash on this country. A few more light bulbs have got to be turned on in people’s minds before they see how they were duped by the ‘hope and change’ fraud currently soiling the White House.

As a disabled vet that wouldn’t use the VA medical system on a dare, I still find this to be repugnant. Those that do use the VA offered their lives and gave their health in the service of this nation and ought not be charged more than they already gave in order to be treated. This is wrong in many ways and one wonders if something can be done to stop it.
The National Defense Authorization Act [NDAA] for FY 09 extends the ban on increasing TRICARE fees and cost shares for another year. This ban has been part of the NDAA since the FY 07 Act.

These people make me want to hurl.
Veterans are owed. They earned those benefits, These benefits are NOT welfare or a handout. We had a contract and a compact with our veterans and backing out is the penultimate example of dishonorable actions.
